Just nerf the rollers. The bigger hitbox is fine because a lot of demomen desperately need it but it's ludicrous that the short fuse time often rewards them for missing what is already easy to hit.

It's about it being unfun/borderline unfair to play against since you can dodge the shots but they hit you anyway because the model is a fraction the size of the hitbox. Arrow hitbox is like this too, it's a homing projectile basically.

the tradeoff between pipes that roll and ones that dont roll is interesting in itself, it changes on the map im sure, would be interesting to see more variety in the game

Honestly I think there's 2 reasons you might want to ban the iron bomber.
1. You think that demomen being able to hit pipes more consistently detracts from the overall game in some way (makes spam too easy, and pushing chokes harder) which could be a fair argument.
2. You think that the iron bomber should be banned because airshots with stock look way cooler.

I am firmly in the second camp and think this is a much more compelling argument for removing the weapon from play.

Edit: oh yeah theres the thing where it looks like its a mile off as well but tbh ive experienced that plenty of times with stock pipes and the loch n load is even worse.
