SpaceCadetI can see what you mean but "get 2 picks" implies something went badly for the defending team during a stalemate.

that's not true at all, taking a 6v6 teamfight should usually result in two deaths for the defenders at the bare minimum. think about a koth teamfight and that's the scenario you end up in. usually, the defenders will win, but the majority of the team ends up dead and behind on spawns

shortening respawn timers would just turn 5cp into shitty koth, the attackers would always want to dry into the point the moment they have 6 people because if they even get 2 picks they can still defend their point with better spawns

gigantic fucking nerd essay aside I feel like banners are a mildly interesting thing that comes out of a moderately negative thing (which are stalemates)
like yeah the game does become slightly more interesting when a team gets a banner but highkey I'd rather just see the round reset and watch a midfight than watch a team fuck around with less than half of an ubercharge

scrim 5 nights a week for 2 hours a night, 10 hours per week so 40 per month, 120 per season. you make $100 in the bottom half of invite so it's $0.83 per hour (not including demo reviews, preseason scrimming, pugs etc.)

that being said you don't need to play in every div to play in invite
my math is shit i put the numbers the wrong way its 83 cents an hour lmao

After playing at fullerton, I think getting rid of halftime altogether is way better for pace of play, tac pauses are a thing and teams haven't played with the config enough to figure out how to use them correctly. 4 minutes seems like the sweet spot, I'd rather the reset be faster than slower because it allows a higher percentage of the game to be actual fights.

Also hard agree with zesty on overtime, allowing the opportunity of a comeback after the time ends means teams can play more composed as the time decreases even if they're losing. We've had at least two matches during the regular season where the momentum shifted in our favor, but we got cut off by the time limit before we could overcome the round deficit.

Do you know how difficult it is to start beef on TF2 Twitter? There's like 4 people that actively use that website in this scene.
Other people aren't responsible for your reputation. You also need to realize that a week or a month of having a changed attitude isn't going to offset the longer period of time you've been acting the way you have. It'll take time but the biggest thing you need to stop if you actually do decide to change is reverting back to your old habits, cuz that destroys any credibility you build up.
