Still, communication could've been better. I thought there was going to be a poll to decide who gets moved up, but maybe that's just me.

Isn't botmode's team using the PizzaG roster? They finished 3rd. Shouldn't they have been under consideration for invite more than MLX? Or did they say no to playing invite?

From what I've heard, it's because MLX's roster has barely changed, so they are the highest placed team with a very similar roster, although from scrims, I am fairly certain botmode's team is better. But, now that MLX's in Invite, they can prove me wrong :)

this wasn't the situation that was layed out for us originally, we know that Yomies (6cuties too) is a much much better team than we are and they do deserve the spot in invite (that we thought they already had). Obviously we would have taken the spot if it was offered to us because the experience is great, but since this is the way things are now yomies must certainly be in invite.
