Ive been getting annoying screen tearing ever since ive gotten back to the game. been playing on fixed refresh 144hz with fps_max 0 and fps capped at 144 on rivatuner. old guides and mastercomfig`s own documentation seems to refer that as the best way to go about it but the screen tearing is really distracting. Any type of sync method is just not gonna cut it, ive tried the "fast" sync in the nvidia control panel and it just makes tf2 run like a slideshow instead. i have a G-sync monitor so i tried leaving that on but the screen tearing remains regardless if the game is on fixed refresh or g-sync mode. any help would be appreciated. jump players probably have this figured out.
