the market gardener and the loch n load are not banned in the glorious land of the USA

play bball or ultiduo instead, theyre the only good gamemodes

it's a cycle, today's admins are prudes, years ago we had permzilla the chad, tomorrow we might get the items back

half the config is stuff that actually has a strong reason to be that way and makes the game better like weapon bans
the other half is just stuff that was kind of decided or used a decade ago and never really changed, like max class limit 2, esea config, etc

They have been banned becayse of the amount of damage and kills that they get they allow the player to eliminate others and some players have decided that isn't fair to the over arching story of most games so when choosing to do damage and kills to other players the unfortunate truth is that it can get kills. It has been brought to my attention though that in the united states that doesn't seem to be the case because we still have players usignthe loch and load and the market gardener

you can have terrible positioning and still get insane damage + kills with the loch and load, honestly i feel like damage falloff would balance it.

1#Luch'n Load is banned in EU because people that are good with it (Kounna) tend to spam people across the map not expecting it and getting easy kills. Very easy to airshot with as well.(also OP vs Sentries)

2#Spoon is banned because EU prefers to play it safe and send single, or even double sacks during holds if they are feeling adventurous and spoon is very op in the hands of (Nubbi) some players.(also op vs sentries when paired with Mantreads to get the med kill)

3#Pyro

So the reason these are banned in EU is pretty much the same: These are weapons that can help you get around the *REDACTED* ass holds that are still the meta in EU.

Market gardener can also generate kills/trades when a soldier should be caught with no exit opportunity ie. 1/0 rockets loaded, sub 150 health vs a 180hp player.

i can understand why items that give defense an advantage are banned (ie vaccinator).

but items that favour offensive play like spoon or loch or banners, i do not agree. Slows the game, makes it less fun for the spectator.

the loch and load does not favor offensive play lol. neither do banners

yeah the weapon that rewards you for not dying by making it harder for you to die definitely doesn't favour defensive play

You need to switch from another class to get onto sniper, giving the enemy advantage until sniper gets the pick
