KavThe soldier's whip is a great idea because it lets new players get to mid faster than walking without knowing the rollouts

its just too fast though

Edit: and should be something people can grow out if i mean

figuring out the fastest way from a to b isnt exactly rocket science.

The concept of highlander isn't that bad. I just don't like playing it as a med main cause it's way harder than 6s in terms of not dying to bullshit

Sure but some rollouts (mainly for demo) are really challenging for newer players and theres not much they can do besides grinding it for hours.

i guess i should clarify that i meant this more for like matchmaking levels of players. where i think the wep would be fine if it was rebalanced as a stepping-stone tool rather than something thats particularly viable for rollouts once a players jumps were good. Like eventually theyll pick up how it works from seeing teammates roll out, but unless valve adds a jump/rollout tutorial there isnt really an "in-between."

like if it was slow enough that you couldnt viably carry heavy to mid then itd also be slow enough that a person with shit jumps would be slower than someone with a half-decent rollout. and i think thats ok for some things so long as higher skill options stay notably stronger.

this actually would be pretty awesome
it won't ever happen though

Good dm is just as important as good gamesense and you shouldn't compromise/prioritise one over the other and focus on both.

Thaigrr and smzi??

Nope, Thalash.

I think he's really underrated. Probably because he played with Stark who is probably the best EU scout ever. Or bandwagon effect

On dm, nah Funs has insane dm and I think Thalash has actually improved his dm to the point where its close. Must be cpma_12

dude hell yeah corbac is crazy good

This is a bit weird for me that Kaidus didn't pick him, especially when he wanted. He is insane. His agressive play style fits new se7en perfectly. His jumps, rockets are so clean. Such perfect combination of agressive play style and "clean" dm i saw only from Blaze. At mid fights he's able to kill 2-3 players including demo or medic and most of the time he stays alive after that... Imagine how good he would be now if he played such in a long time in the team with Kaidus. I hope they will pick him in the future.

Maybe he wasn't picked for Kaidus team because his team didn't synergize with him. Its all about synergy.

FaceIt was much more enjoyable at launch than PugChamp up until they decided to mix advanced with everyone from mid open to playoffs invite. if the divisions were much more focused, FaceIt would be by far better.

i dont know how people enjoy dm as a soldier when it's literally people playing in the dumbest way possible chasing down people with 10hp for the resup not turning their backs to you when you're shooting them

it especially sucks as soldier because you do good damage then just immediately die because a scout killsteals you and you end up with like 40 assists
