Very sad news.

It's an honor for me that I was able to play with him on the same team, and on top of that it was his last official match in ETF2L :(

Gone but never forgotten [']

They say there's two kinds of deaths. One when you pass and one where you pass in memory. Fortunately his left a impression on the scene that help fuel his memory. Rest in peace quad.

Thanks to konr too for tweeting about it too

RIP to a genuine legend! I remember meeting him in person for the first time at i42 and how everyone was so hype to see him play, then at i43 he plays for Epsilon and goes CRAZY too. He was a great friend when we used to hang out all the time and really was the catalyst that got me into so many of the hobbies I love now.

For anyone wondering, I know because his sister responded to my birthday post from months ago on his Facebook and after that noticed a few of his friends had posted on his profiles and whatnot too.

One of the reasons I got into this game as hard as I did on scout back in 2012 and I got to play with him in 2015 I talked to him a couple times last time probably 2022 in a pub he seemed to be doing good, horrible news I can't believe this.

Rest in peace man, you are a genuine legend and hero in TF2.

I remember being nervous about saying hi to him at CPH lan in 2019 lmao. He was playing with alfies team so I was kinda hanging around anyway. Pretty sure all I said was something along the lines of "pleased to meet you, you're a legend". He was sound as fuck and we chatted a little bit about life and tf2 before the next game started.

Really sad news to hear, life can be very unfair. I was lucky to play on his team at Copenhagen games 2019 when he made a brief comeback (and he lent me his cool briefcase PC). Wholesome story I logged in to share: Quad, Teo and I made a trip to an el giganten store to grab a new headset after it broke. We ended up talking in his van about how glad he was to go to lan after all that time, how delighted he was that people remembered him and meeting newer players who looked up to him. People should know how much the TF2 community meant to him. Rest well, buddy.

Got to hang out with him a bit at CPH and would like to echo what Mia posted
Seemed like a genuine and nice person who felt happy seeing his legacy still persisted
He won't be forgotten for a long time

Genuinely sad to hear, I used to micro-analyze his movement and aim from his fragmovies to try to emulate them, it always astonished me that he made it look so easy to hit his quad pistols.

Rest in peace to a legend.

I recall he said something about deleting his old channel when he switched to the quadGC channel and released "QUAD DAMAGE" so someone'll have to have downloaded them!
