Is TF2 just a philosophical experiment?

Tf2, what is it all about? Why do we play it? What are we trying to achieve?

As I've said before, I'm no different than any other Team Fortress 2 enthusiast. My mornings are busy with the voice of b4nny in the background and the game projected on my screen.

Today, however, my morning routine was distributed. I looked up at my framed photograph of Matthew "Clockwork" Dias which hung beside my oil painting of MGE Mike. I began to wonder why I am doing all this. I immediately turned off b4nny's harmonious voice and exited out of my jump server. I was in great despair. I began to wonder: have I been wasting my time?

Tf2 had not brought any financial gains or the respect of women. Team Fortress 2 had not brought me fame or power. Yet, I was willing to invest thousands of hours in it. I believed the game would have improved me as a man and give me life satisfaction.

However, I feel no different than when I first started. I don't feel improved in any way. Why would I continue to play this game of complexities when the reality of life is chaotic enough?

TF2?
Is this what it all comes to?
A giant step backward in man’s evolution toward eternity and redemption.
The ultimate scientific nightmare.

Has to be an experiment, once you boot up the game and enjoy it you've lost, and there is no turning back

the scout has a bucket of chicken and wants to do it. inside this bucket of chicken there is a device that will eat the chicken before the scout can open the chickne bucket lid. it is a random chicken eater device. before the scout opens the chicken bucket lid the chicken is both there and not there. very deep
