Cognitive dissonance. It's completely human really, nobody wants to believe that they're a bad person so they'll do mental gymnastics to prove that their lifestyle (the status quo) is okay despite all the evidence to the contrary.

err I mean BACON lol XD

I forgot to mention it's typically young men who are insecure about their masculinity.

humans tend to favour status quo and maintaining norms that are already in place over adopting new ones. I guess that's what keeps our society from randomly changing

Sure you can, there's more and more convincing fake cheese out there these days. Or just make your own cheese sauce with cashews or sunflower seeds, potato or yellow pepper, and nutritional yeast. Or just make it with extra vegetables and add nutritional yeast like parmesan. Seriously, your mind (dopamine from high caloric density, fat and salt content) and body (casomorphin) adapt so quickly. I don't equate pizza with cheesiness at all these days. Do it for the cows? :)

If you feel superior to someone else because of what you eat/don't eat compared to them ur a sad human being. This goes for both sides.

The animals we eat are literally bred to be eaten. These are animals that would die off immediately if they weren't being farmed. Meat tastes good, it's healthy when eating the correct portions, and at least where I live there's so much good local food that I'm not too worried about contributing to Tyson Brand's Chicken Torture Fund.

If you want to be vegan, go ahead, but fuck off with this dumbass survey with its dumbass loaded questions presuming some ridiculous moral high ground.

alright these internet peoples i didnt even see the faces of convinced me to change my lifestyle brb throwing away my meats

thanks for caring about my health internet peoples

also sero jumping the gun with implying everybody who eats meat is a bad person made my day, thats some strong motivation for people to stop doing that; not that its something new tho, guess its the only way for people to prove their points in 2017

I'm not a vegan, but in this particular aspect, they are morally superior, no? Overall they might be a shitty person, but come on, how is not supporting the slaughter/torture of animals not more ethical?

For health, the only thing that really matters is that you have a diverse diet. Nothing else matters.
