HedoKingogluAnd Bernie thinks he can make free college and free healthcare happen by taxing everyone with 90 percent income tax. I don't see you guys making any comments about that.

probably because that's not true:

HedoKingogluScrewballHedoKingogluAnd for the sake of arguement what was batshit idiotic about his statement? The man believes vaccines cause autism.
This alone should disqualify him from working at the DMV let alone the highest office in the country.

I think the real funny thing is how bernie explained time after time how social health care is cheaper for basically everyone that already has an insurance at this moment of time (which are most people).

And by funny I mean it's funny how people still don't believe this, his numbers are right ofc

the301stspartanpine_beetleI love Trump, I'm hopping he moves to Canada and runs for pm after he's done fixing the states. Tells it like it is, facts are more important than feelings and has really shaken things up in a good way. Political correctness is getting out of control to the point where you can't actually say what you're thinking without having some sort of outrage. It's refreshing to see someone who not only challenges but also defeats the mainstream media and popular opinion.Saying what you think for the sake of saying what you think is not in any way desirable if what you think is batshit idiotic.

The point I was making is people are more worried about feelings than facts. Sometimes the truth hurts but it needs to be said. I believe in free speech and the right to make outrageous statements. If you can't do that you are slowly but sure censoring the people and in the longterm it's a very bad thing.

I would rather have a president who's a bit concerned with being PC than one who just spews as much non strop racist drivel as comes to his mind

disagreement != censorship
trump is pretty much the opposite of censored, in fact "outrageous" opinions are rarely the repressed ones in the us. candidates should be judged on the validity of their actual stance, not the scalar controversy they create.

I'm not a huge connoisseur of american politics, but do the wins he had in the primaries yesterday pretty much secure his place in the republican nomination or no? I'm taking realistically, I'm at least aware that he needs a certain amount of delegates to win it

like are the remaining states ones that he'd likely win? is he not well liked in those states? also someone tell me whether sanders or clinton seem likely to win the democratic nomination because apparently she's leading but all I've heard from the internet is people praising bernie

Trump and clinton are likely to win going by polls

Dems have shit voter turnout and bernies main demographic is young white people who have an even shittier voter turnout (insert weed joke here)
It also doesn't help that most POC's overwhelming vote for clinton

it doesnt really secure it because if Kasich and Carson swallow their pride and drop out, 90% of their votes with go to Rubio/Cruz. Kasich and Carson made up around 15-20% in most states so it's kind of a big deal. IMO Carson wants to sell books and Kasich wants to be Trumps running mate.

Yeah and Trump's stances on American issues are remarkably moderate and rational

Copy pasted from reddit:

No more nation building in the Middle East. He openly called the Iraq War a mistake even back when it wasn't cool to do so.

He wants lower and middle class tax cuts.

He is focused on American jobs.

He wants to reduce student loan debt. Is against the government charging interest on student loans: "That's probably one of the only things the government shouldn't make money off – I think it's terrible that one of the only profit centers we have is student loans." Openness to lowering student loan interest rates and making loan forgiveness programs.
Wants to audit the Federal Reserve.

He's genuinely against TPP, which screws over American producers through a guise of "free trade" (Only candidate other than Sanders who is against TPP)

Doesn't have any special interests groups funding him unlike the other candidates. Has called for all candidates to return the money they're getting back to Super PACs and to remove special interest groups from our election process.
Likes universal healthcare, is open to replacing America's broken system with something similar to Canada but better.
Moderate on social issues (e.g. affirmative action, women's health, gay rights)

Focus on broad-based American nationalism instead of narrow and divisive race and gender identity politics.
Acknowledgement that political correctness is obnoxious.

Desire to put America first in trade deals instead of pure Wall Street globalism that exploits third world workers abroad and destroys domestic jobs.

Realist based foreign policy. (e.g. deal with Putin if it is in our national interest to do so, even if he isn't a nice guy).
National pride. The man loves his country and thinks it is the best. Every country should have a leader like that.

Diversity: he employed women in leadership roles before it was popular to do that. And he did it in the construction industry of all places. He has absolutely nothing against legal immigration, he's encouraged it many times. His grandparents are immigrants, his wife is an immigrant, several of his closest business partners in New York are immigrants. He is against uncontrolled, illegal immigration.

Hugely successful businessman, knows how to manage money, how to invest for the future and a fantastic negotiator.
Unlike other candidates, his economic plan actually makes sense. It would result in "an 11 percent higher GDP, a 29 percent larger capital stock, 6.5 percent higher wages, and 5.3 million more full-time equivalent jobs". Take a look at the video of him back in 1991 talking about how to utilize the upper class to re-invest in America or face higher taxes .Not only is he very knowledgable in economics and investment, but the tax structure he offers up back in 91' seems relevant even today to help alleviate some of the complaints we have about 1%'ers and wall street.

Acknowledges the danger of allowing mass refugees from places governed by fundamentalist terrorist groups, even if such acknowledgment is not politically correct.
candidates should be judged on the validity of their actual stance, not the scalar controversy they create.
