Today, BEING ESPORTS proudly announces ÜBERFEST 2026.
From 11th to 13th September (early access on 10th), we will return to 1337 Camp Waiblingen for our third iteration and hopefully once again one of the best weekends of the entire year!
After successfully not killing the venue (quite the opposite, actually) this time around, we are happy to be returning to 1337 Camp!
What?
ÜBERFEST 2026
When?
10th to 13th of September 2026
main tournament (6v6) from friday - sunday
Where?
1337 Camp in Stuttgart Germany
Maybachstraße 24, 71332 Waiblingen
Capacity:
Last year, we were able to accommodate up to 16 teams. This time, the whole venue will be at our disposal, which means we have enough room for 3 more teams (exact update on this once signups open). Of course, spectators / fans / friends will be able to attend as well.
Prize Pool:
2.000€ prize pool
Tickets:
Tickets will go on sale on the 29th of April 2026 at 18:00 CEST. We will have one initial wave of tickets as well as a few tickets that we will hold back for a potential group of invites.
We encourage everyone who would like to join our event alone or as 7th player/ coach to get in touch with us through our event discord server as we should have a few gaming stations free for guests who would like to participate in this way.
If you are a team leader who intends to play in the invite bracket, please do NOT hesitate to contact me (DCS) via Discord - @stinson_out
Cost:
TBA shortly!
We have done everything we could to keep ticket prices at roughly the same level. Please expect these to be very similar to last year’s iteration as we have only adjusted most of them to inflation. The only exception from these are the double bedrooms which will come at a different price point due to their obvious increase in quality and comfort.
Accommodation:
1337 Camp has been renovated. The main point of feedback for the last iteration was the showering area not offering optimal levels of privacy and enough showers. That will not be the case this time since they have renovated their premises in this regard. Just to reiterate - this renovation had already been planned for last year but sadly wasn’t finished in time for our event.
More on site sleeping options. During last year’s event, we were sadly only able to offer on-site rooms for groups of 3, 5 or 7 people. This year, we will be able to offer you rooms for two each with their own bathroom. These will come at a limited number. All in all roughly 55 beds will be available.
The final allocation of these beds to individual people will lie within the responsibility of person who booked the room.
Warm Weather advantages (probably)
We are finally doing it in September! Expect outside viewing experiences alongside an afternoon and evening Barbeque.
Additional options
We will once again offer a Thursday warmup through which you will be able to set up your PC early on. However, this time in cooperation with 1337 Camp, you will also be able to arrive even earlier to bootcamp with your team before ÜBERFEST for an incredibly affordable price. More on that with our next update!
Further Information:
Please find a few extra points on ÜBERFEST 2026 that we would love for you to know:
- Just as last year, we will broadcast all matches and additional content around the matches on twitch.tv/kritzkast
- There will not be one big lan area but rather multiple rooms across which teams will be separated. Check 1337 Camp's website to see the layout. There will be team rooms and community spaces to get together for drinks, relaxation, food and to chill out with friends.
- With no dedicated stage room we're turning one of 1337 Camp's community spaces into a unique broadcast stage and a different area of the venue into a viewing & party space.
- We will not have to close the venue down at night time. However this means that we will have to ask visitors to respect a few noise and privacy rules on the sleeping floors at night.
- If you weren’t able to or prefer not to book a sleeping space on site please note that there of course are several affordable hotels in the area of the venue!
We hope that this post has already answered most of the questions you might have. However, if there is anything else you would like to know, please ask us on our ÜBERFEST Discord
Parts of this post have been copied from the official announcement on the BEING ESPORTS website. Make sure to check that one out as well!

Hello everyone!
The first part of team tickets went on sale this week, and there is only one more available!
Did not get to grab yours? Not a problem, there will be just as many available in the second wave in roughly 3 weeks time.
In any case, you can already book your accommodation through the ticket shop as well!
Also, a quick reminder to contact me via Discord (@stinson_out) if you wish to play in the invite bracket of our LAN. We will reserve 6 tickets for the top teams, 4 have already reached out.
You will not want to wait too long getting a roster together, or you might end up on the outside looking in!
While we would absolutely love to host the highest of competition on the invite level, our priority is to sell out the event. The earlier you are ready to commit to ÜBERFEST, the better for everyone.
:)

Hello everyone!
The second wave of team tickets for ÜBERFEST is now live. There are five remaining team tickets.
As we would technically have the opportunity to increase the available team spots by another two with a bit of an investment from our end, it would be very interesting to hear how many teams are still actively debating whether they will attend our 2026 iteration or not.
Lastly, if high plane fare prices are currently avoiding you from making the decision to come to Germany due to budget restrictions, please feel free to get in touch through Discord (BE_Gideon). We might be able to help you a little bit in that regard.

Hi @Lupus,
we are in active communication with several teams for our invite bracket. So far there is no team that we can confirm but I assume that will happen soon.

I'm not an admin, but these were the rules last time which contained the following rule about ban mirroring:
2.8 Players that at the start of the event have been banned from ETF2L (for European players) or RGL (for North American players) or a league of similar status in their respective regions for 1 month or longer are not allowed to participate in the event.

Hi everyone - I would like to share this here as well:
Today, we're thrilled to share some exciting news about ÜBERFEST 2026!
As many of you know, the ability to award official in-game medals for major community events was discontinued several years ago. However, after a series of productive discussions between KritzKast and Valve, we're delighted to announce that there will be official in-game medals for ÜBERFEST 2026.
While we can't reveal the final medal designs just yet (they're currently being worked on), we can already confirm that medals will be awarded to:
- The event champions
- The second- and third-place teams
- All event attendees
The attendee medal will be awarded to everyone involved in the event, including players, community ticket holders, talent, and staff members.
We'll be sharing more details about the medal distribution process in the coming days, but rest assured—we're making it as simple and straightforward as possible.
Finally, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to KritzKast and Valve for helping make this possible. Their support allows us to recognize and celebrate everyone who helps make ÜBERFEST such a special event.

Hello everyone,
I am sure everyone has read all about it on this forum and our discord, but for the sake of leaving no question unanswered:
syrusWill this event mirror the bans of PoLANd / ETF2L
https://www.teamfortress.tv/66449/polan-2026-ban-statement/?page=2#34
After a busy couple of weeks with countless conversations, we are receiving more and more messages of understanding, and support. Thank you to everyone who took the time to reach out!
While we are sure that our LAN will be as awesome as in previous years, we currently have no feeling for how many teams are in the process of forming or even ready to book their tickets and travel.
To this end, we ask everyone who considers / is likely / is definitely coming to purchase their ticket this week, until Sunday 21st June. At some point - which we have not reached yet - it would be cheaper for Being Esports to cancel the event and take on the fees than to go through with it and take a huge loss.
Should the event be cancelled, your tickets will be refunded. Same goes for any bookings made for accommodation on site. However, we advise you to not book your travel or hotel at this point in time until we confirm that enough teams will be attending.
If you definitely plan on coming but you are not ready to purchase your ticket yet, please open a support ticket in our event Discord. and let us know! You can also use the LFT/LFP channel in the Discord to fill your roster!
We have currently sold 7/12 Open tickets and 1/6 Invite tickets. We are currently talking to an invite level NA team about attending. There seems to be keen interest. If we can offer competition on the highest level, they will commit.
If we cannot fill the invite bracket, we will move slots to the open tournament.
Do not hesitate to let us know if you have questions or need help with something! :)

Gamers!
Gideon has posted a personal video message in our Discord, in the #news channel. I highly recommend everyone interested take the time to watch it!
Most important information: We are moving forward with ÜBERFEST!
Somewhat of a TLDW, quoting the newspost:
- We are happy to confirm that ÜBERFEST 2026 will take place
- We are looking forward to running the event and will have a many old and two new faces running the event
- The decision has not been super easy and we have thought about cancelling the event because:
- There is an active sabotage of a few community members going on that is based on either partially true or entirely unfactual information
- We have heard from several teams that have not yet bought a ticket because they were affected by that information (which makes it hard to run an event that is already losing money)
- Several team members are unwilling to put themselves in harms way after seeing how "violent" the criticism can get when some community members believe this false information
It is therefore quite possible that 2026 will be the last iteration of ÜBERFEST if this behavior continues
We want to host these events and we will put a lot of effort into making the event the most open and safe place possible. We will do even more to ensure that than last time (appointing specific people to contact on site both in real life and in a digital way as well as creating a "safe room" where you can cool down if things get a bit too much). We will however not fight any further to keep an event alive that is made solely with the interest of providing something amazing for the community if that community doesn't actually want it.
Simply put - it is your choice whether you want to keep ÜBERFEST and with it one of the last LAN events (in EU) alive or whether you want to believe those who for whatever reason want to harm the community, us and thereby kind of also you specifically in the process.
Our door is always open for anyone who wants to talk or ask questions and we would love to get everything out of the way if possible. <3
Some extra info:
- There is a very good chance that we will have an NA team at ÜBERFEST if we have enough strong EU teams taking part
- There still are a few invite spots left and we would love for you to grab them
- If a team comes from further abroad and has issues coming up with the full budget for a ticket, please reach out. We might be able to help you out at least a little.

Hi everyone,
there has been a little update to our ÜBERFEST shop.
As we will likely have a few spare PCs at ÜBERFEST, we would love to offer everyone who is interested the option to purchase an individual player ticket as we have done in the 2024 iteration.
This ticket will come with:
- A high power PC for the entire duration of the event (Thursday to Sunday) for you to use to play with your friends on site
- Access to all event areas
- Everything included in the community ticket (no need to buy both!)
- Access to our B-tournament if you find a group of like-minded people on side that also have a player ticket
The price for the ticket will be 155€ (the price of our team ticket / 6 so that everyone pays exactly the same).
Important addition: If anyone who has already purchased a community ticket would like to upgrade to a player ticket, please reach out and we will give you a coupon code that will take the price of the community ticket off of the player ticket (so you won't have to cancel your order and purchase again!)
Get your ÜBERFEST Tickets here: https://buytickets.at/beingesports/2168575

- Access to all event areas
- Everything included in the community ticket (no need to buy both!)
- Access to our B-tournament if you find a group of like-minded people on side that also have a player ticket
The price for the ticket will be 155€ (the price of our team ticket / 6 so that everyone pays exactly the same).
Important addition: If anyone who has already purchased a community ticket would like to upgrade to a player ticket, please reach out and we will give you a coupon code that will take the price of the community ticket off of the player ticket (so you won't have to cancel your order and purchase again!)
