Actually though, the production quality of this lan was insane. I think this is exactly what a tf2 lan is supposed to look like. All the fun segments for the downtime were a blast, and the stream just perfectly encapsulated how awesome tf2 lans are.
It's honestly such a shame froyo couldn't go, that would've made it even better, but I can't believe how much fun it was to watch regardless. And I agree the NA team did fantastic considering it was a team made just for the lan and they didn't have nearly as much exp together as the eu teams.
We legit had commanderx co stream some of the last day, pulling an extra 300-500 viewers for the tournament, glazing tf2 as he was doing it, I really hope someone saves those vods. :D
Can't remember the last time I had such a great time watching TF2, congrats to everyone involved in that masterpiece.

I think we should reconsider using a b4nny config in EU, it was cool to watch these games and delays were manageable even with a sudden move of players from a failed stage to the rooms

My post-LAN hot take is that this infinite overtime config works best on LAN. During the online season, I'm not a fan for regular matches, I don't want to gamble on midnight finishes every week and if teams can't push then it just isn't good; I could be convinced either way for online playoffs; but for LAN playoffs where players, admins and production are all in the same venue, where nobody is doing anything else and where teams are even I don't want to go back.
