I remember a few years ago some guy in a pub i was in had made a bot/macro that spammed the chat if there was a steamid flagged as being a cheater. Turns out that after i headshot him twice i was added to said list of “bots”. Thank god etf2l still hasnt caught up to me.

There's no way the average pubber can reliably tell the difference between a cheater and a guy who isn't holding his mouse upside down.

While I definitely agree, I don't trust anyone except AC admins to determine cheaters, I would think the difference between a bot and an actual player is going to be pretty obvious.

the most fun part of the bot crisis was trying to kick an actual human cheater and pubbers voting against it cos they didnt understand that someone can cheat without being a bot
