YeeHawwhere did rgl even get that much money? if it's from sponsors that's impressive but how is that much money possibly sustainable every season regardless of where it's from

We're fully focused on sustainability with this sixes league. The numbers that we're quoting are sustainable.

We at RGL, try to not speak in hyperbole, but in realistic terms of the numbers we quote and we've never had any issues with payouts to players when it comes to our prize pools. I looked at the numbers, what we can expect for team counts. The possible growth we could see by bringing on a small % of teams who'll join us from the Prolander and HL divisions and $8-10k was where we landed.

For information about the LAN, that'll be a 100% yes or no at the launch of the fall league.

The goal of the LAN is that it'd be for the Invite divisions of our largest Fall leagues. So it'd likely be a Traditional Sixes and HL LAN. Our plan would be to have it in early-mid January, while most college students would be on break. It'd be a playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.

Since the east and west coast have gotten love, we're doing a little ESEA style by having it in the center of America, but more north this time. The current aim is for Milwaukee, Chicago or Minneapolis.

But again, we will have 100% details, of location, time and if it's a go at the time we officially announce our fall season of RGL.

Seinfeldsidular couldn't even keep his open team from dying, you think he can run a league?

There's a difference between being "bad" and dying.

what we should do is get all head admins in the same agar.io game and whoever swallows all other leagues gets to be the only league

You want to have a Chicago lan in mid January wouldn’t the weather be a potential problem?

Artz_HispanianYou want to have a Chicago lan in mid January wouldn’t the weather be a potential problem?

Not usually, I've flown in and out of Madison, a regional airport, in the midwest during these times just fine. Even when it was snowing such. If we are unlucky enough to get a horrible blizzard. Then yes, that could disrupt it.

people are going to fly either way might as well just do cali cause the weather is nice and it's close to so many people (or just work with the RGB people)
nobody wants to go to a lan in fucking Milwaukee in january LMAO

that said i still dont understand where these big prize pools are coming from and am very skeptical if it would be sustainable (or maybe sigafoo's pockets are full of infinite Dollar)

I'd rather see the return of Dallas LANs if we're talking December - February / still relatively center and far enough South most of the bad weather can be avoided. Pretty much the rest of the year could be one of the major North-Central Cities.

People driving are likely much more impacted by weather in winter anyway, a lot more on the ground travel to cover without hitting a blizzard

Also the logistics of hosting a 6s and HL tourney that's isn't BYOC is..... Stressful. Running one game at a time for both is already 24 computers and you're not even providing warm up stations.

I can see why a BYOC would be chosen to combat that issue but then you're adding back some of the variables in place online that playing at LAN is supposed to negate

These are fair points and I'll definitely see if outside the midwest for winter is a realistic opportunity.
