So I'm trying to use your cinematic config to capture some moments, but whenever i exec the config (I temporarily have it at the bottom of my autoexec config) and load a demo, it crashes my game.

One thing I have noticed is that my weapon skin doesn't load before the crash happens, if that helps diagnose the problem. Any idea what's causing the crash and what can I doto/remove from the config to make it not crash?

Edit: I found the issue, toggling closed captions was causing the crash

these don't improve fps and can decrease it. stop trying to push the fact that you can give people better fps.

I am not saying that I can give people better FPS I am just trying to put in something.

Hey, does anyone know which commands in the config make skins look normal?

Can someone tell me the default version of these console commands?

r_eyeshift_x 0
r_eyeshift_y 0
r_eyeshift_z 0
r_eyesize 0
blink_duration 0

I have switched to facial features enabled from having them disabled since I don't like the way it looks but the config doesn't show what these commands are by default so when I launched up tf2 using facial features enabled, it still had these commands set in console when I previously had facial features disabled. If someone could tell me what those commands are that would be really awesome thanks :3.

the game doesn't give the default values for these in the console, just checked, although "blink_duration 0.2" is the default for that command

bwopperHey, I installed your config and it doesnt save any settings, can you help me with this?

anything like -autoconfig or -default in your launch options? (maybe -dxlevel also causes problems with that, idk). is it saved in tf/cfg/autoexec.cfg?

Would you mind making a config specifically for Competitive? Officially, the only graphical options are those available in Options/Adv. Options, but 1) I am not sure this is actually the case, and 2) I would crash less if the correct graphical settings (including the locked settings) were loaded before I joined the matchmaking server.

Some time after the update came out I started crashing whenever joining mm servers. Followed the instructions in cfg and changed mat_queue_mode to -1 from 2 and it fixed it (never had problems with 2 before). Just thought id let anyone who has similiar issue know.

btw, has anyone have the same problem where the first person arms of blu demoman are showing up as red team? it seemed to have come from the config because before I had it installed I didn't have this problem.
