Anything less than a triple monitor 48:9 setup really isn't worth considering, how else are you going to look behind you? Turn around like a peasant?

Be aware that some servers might have set sv_restrict_aspect_ratio_fov 2 and prevent anything above 1.85:1 (about 16.65:9) from doing anything, even if you use fullscreen.
