he's just gonna be pissed and disappointed again lol, it's nice to have an incredibly talented driver back but I don't think it'll mean much unless the team makes massive leaps on next year's car

I genuinely think renault would do better in grabbing someone like Zhou and putting new blood on the grid, Alonso is just going to be frustrated and whiny pissing about in the midfield and hurt the team more than his driving helps. Might make for good memes though

I also think zhou is a good choice
dude is crazy fast, got robbed of a win by unreliability last weekend
and renault aren't really in any position to be paying superstar salaries so someone straight out of f2 can be helpful on that end too

Saw a few formula 1 videos on youtube and it looked interesting, where would be the best place to find current races? Is there an online subscription service or something to that effect?

not sure about vods but live feeds can be found in various places, including here :
https://sportsurge.net/#/streamlist/1171

I don't even know if you can buy a subscription from F1 directly, I guess this would go against their deals with local TV channels?

In multiple European countries, including Belgium where I live, you can get F1TV Pro directly from the F1 website. It's a subscription based service that allows you to watch all races live, including F2 and Porsche super cups. Also gives you access to a various range of other channels and live data.

You probably won't be able to buy it in the US as ESPN holds the broadcasting rights.

I think live races and VODs are available in the US, there's a table here.

How did Stroll not get a penalty for that move on Ricciardo? He didn't even keep one wheel on the kerb, let alone give Ricciardo any space. They can make new aero regulations to get the cars racing closer together all they want, but if the stewarding is going to stay this poor and inconsistent then it's not going to help. How difficult is it to just say "the driver on the inside line has to leave the driver on the outside line enough space to keep at least two wheels wholly within track limits when the driver on the outside line has at least half a car length next to the driver on the inside line at corner entry"?

rules for pushing drivers off the track are so wildly inconsistent. stroll should have had to at least give the place back but the stewards just make it up, always have and probably always will

Im generally on the side of being more lenient with overtakes but stroll was nowhere near making that turn, all 4 over the sausage kerb

F1TV USA has the vods available very shortly after the race is finished, usually within an hour or two.
