This is our first year trying out without a summer season. We get both sides of the coin and pretty much had the same reasoning as multiple players here mentioned. The amount of offseason is indeed quite large but it was the only thing that fit around the other competitions we run as well. We will look into reducing the amount of offseason time going forward.
VoxiI, however also thought that there would be at least 1-2 6s cups organized in cooperation with EssentialsTF or other orgs.
We did look into this originally, but couldn't really fit anything that's more than a weekend cup in due to insomnia and the rest of our own schedule. insomnia falling through did open a gap, but it did allow us to shift the schedule a bit for the dortmund LAN.
That being said, if essentials and/or other alternatives want to host something we can always look in what ways we can support that (given it doesn't clash with our events).
Hadn't had the pleasure to work with them on a LAN, but nothing but good experiences. Rest in peace, wishing the best to their friends and family

We're only trying out the ban in the preseason cup, we will re-evaluate before going into the main season
