rikachu and preston are coming back into mumble now, their internet is fine. we just want to say that the crunchy bunch is in no way responsible for what happened tonight.

X had to renew his premium to come in and play with us. we're going to reimburse him and we really appreciate him coming in and trying.

with that said, there is no fucking doubt in my mind that these kind of things need to be addressed both with individual players and with ESEA.

they might not be responsible for the ddosing, but they're still enormous fuckheads for doing what they did

Can we get a confirmation about wether or not it was a ddos attack? Hard to tell with the chaotic twitch chat. I just want to know if you guys were actually ddos'd, sorry if it's a stupid question.

Visually, the perfect timing of the players leaving and rejoining are picture perfect of ddosing.

I'm more upset at the fact that they didn't wait for PG to get a sixth, regardless of whether or not the problems were DDoS-related.

It's nice to know that you're taking this gracefully, but still, Crunchy Bunch handled it really poorly. One of the most ridiculous wins I've ever seen.

Also, do we have confirmation of ddosing (or dosing as the case may be, I heard both ways in chat)? Knowing the last month or so, I expect it is, but I would like closure.

Playing with a heavy 6v5 and then taking all 5 rounds is really unsportsmanlike.

It would be a tragic mistake for the community to blame the Crunchy Bunch instead of blaming the people who are actually responsible for what happened tonight.

I find it silly that some people still don't realize there's a third party in this

Should've had the decency to wait for a 6 or forfeit and take the loss with grace. Not a win I would be proud of let alone want.

I understand that the actual DDoS attackers are at fault, but fucking really?

Running a heavy for 5 rounds while they are down a player? You guys are pretty good, I guess it will surprise everyone when PGT comes back in the final and shitstomps crunchy with all 6 players.

Probably because they played out a 6v5 in a game they were going to lose and ran a heavy on top of it. Just because they didn't ddos doesn't mean they weren't dicks.

Half these people don't even know Crunchy Bunch on a personal level and to say that you wouldn't play 6v5 in their situation is still very bold. Yeah, sure you feel bad that it's come down to this but why risk it and also end up playing 5v5 or even 5v6 since your player is going to have to go too?

What I'm saying is that people need to start analyzing things for themselves instead of looking at a post with a couple +frags and agreeing with it.

The true sportsmanship response to this ddos attack would of been to give them the last round for free, or to play 5v5. You can't say they would of came back from a 4-0 roll, with the way playground tactics was playing compared to crunchy bunch. It was a one sided match and both teams knew it.

bosh is a good friend and still is, its a shitty situation for both teams to be in, but we'll try our best to make a finals rematch happen!

i don't think they should be villain-ized like the way slin is making it out to be
i also don't think they should have played 5v5, but maybe try to reschedule the match to a different time to be ready in-case it happens again

shit happens, but someone has to figure out where the source of these attacks (assuming they are attacks) are really coming from before anyone can do anything considering i doubt esea would change any of their policies for tf2 players based on the past

either that or everyone just has to deal with anti-ddos measures because people want attention
