I've been getting tons of this malicious ads recently on my phone and it's awful, it will just randomly redirect me to some phishing site and have pop up dialogs. Can just close tab and hit back and open a new one but when I try to browse the site it happens pretty consistently. No other website does this either, I'm using the newest chrome on Android 9 (on my Pixel 2 if that matters).

Edit: same issue as this thread don't know if there's a fix, I'm not rooted and don't know if it's possible to get adblock on mobile otherwise http://www.teamfortress.tv/48723/tftv-ads

Don't click this link below in the spoilers it's obviously a scam but this Amazon bullshit I keep getting and enigma should definitely remove it. I'll embed a screenshot of it here so you can see.

Hey bear, a couple things you could do:

Root your phone and change your host file so you'll never see another ad again. (any app)

or

Get the firefox app, they have a uBlock Origin plugin which is great.

disable javascript in your web browser’s settings. these scam redirects are executed as javascript events

Don't disable ads. They decrease your sex appeal. Ever since I turned them off, all the horny singles in my area have disappeared.

Hey friends those are really all very great suggestions about installing software to block the ads, however - hear me out for a second - I would like to mention (bear with me here), have u also considered the following:

enigma should not host malicious ads on his website

Unfortunately, the only way around problems like this is to get an ad blocker or wait for the ad network to remove the malicious ad.

Have you considered the following:

enigma does not hand-pick the ads that run on this website

Google ads is an extremely popular service. It's inevitable that some bad actors are going to get in the mix. Usually, they will notice and remove the malicious ads after a few days. However, due to the obscene number of ads they manage, this process takes time and isn't perfect. Enigma cannot possibly vet every single ad that runs here for the same reason.

of course not, but it is shady that of all the random google-ad-supported websites that I browse, I only ever have this issue with TFTV. there must be something specific to this website going on.

hooliif you are rooted get adaway
if you are not get dns66
these will block ads on any app

i installed dns66 and set it up and it's blocking ads on this site but on certain other sites I'll just get randomly redirected to bullshit scam shit (now it's been giving me some YouTube thing). Does this mean I have some whack shit accidentally downloaded on my phone and it's malware doing this, or does it just mean that the ad filters thing are not exhaustive and there's some shit that gets through
