I have 6100 gold saved up. Looking forward to it.

Going to be making a fatigue/Yogg'saron mage. Gun be good.

I've also disenchanted all of the nerfed cards. I have about 3600 dust to work with too.

I plan on waiting for people smarter than me to come up with usable decks and then steal them and never actually play the game beyond dailies.

You get like 8 free packs from quests when the expansion drops which is pretty nice

I'm quite excited for the meta shake-up and I'm glad that Shaman is getting some new toys.

I kind of dislike that the expansion has such a high amount of legendaries, it's going to take fucking forever to get them

Aggro shaman loses next to nothing, while everyone else loses chow, healbot, and sludge.
Added to the fact that midrange shaman gets crazy new tools like the evolve ones, and we might actually see a meta where Shaman makes up the top cancer decks.

Got more then 22000 gold to spend so i'll get some packs for sure. Also, i really hope shaman becomes viable in a not SMOrc way, being it one of the 3 classes that i dont have golden portrait of

I'll probably get 20-25 packs (including the freebies) since I was disappointed with the TGT set (or rather my unpacks), of which I got 35 packs. I have over 12,000 dust ready to go.

Midrange Shaman looks promising in both standard / Overload and totem / Evolve variants. C'Thun also looks good with Druid, Priest, maybe even Warrior. Thankfully today is my last of classes, I want to try everything from C'Thun Druid to Yogg-Saron Mage, Beast Hunter to Heal Paladin.

LIVE, INSECT.

im personally not super interested in the new set or standard to be honest, and will probably stick to wild

the tempo-esque c'thun mage deck seems kinda cool with the 3/2 2mana guy who buffs cthun everytime you cast a spell

SkittlesBT#1936 if anyone wants to add me

on a side note i am still very mad that shield slam is still only 1 mana

I'd be happy if midrange shaman dominated. Shaman is my favourite class and the evolve mechanic seems pretty fun. But if face cancer shaman dominates instead I'm gonna be pissed.

C'thun priest is something I want to play for sure. Although that deck they showed had way too many many minions. I want to try a mill rogue deck again since gang up is still in, although no healbot might make it a bit harder.

darkshire alchemist isnt a horrible substitute, and shadowcaster is possibly playable along with thistle tea for mill rogue

WE LIVE BOYS. I think saying "LIVE INSECT" earlier helped me because I opened Ragnaros, Lightlord in my 2nd pack.

C'thun decks are actually pretty insane. All the cards that buff C'thun aren't understatted at all, Disciple of C'thun, Beckoner of Evil and Twilight Elder are solid cards even without C'thun - I think Blizzard assumes that the downside to these cards is that you have to run a dedicated C'thun deck and thus the stats can be even for the mana regardless. As such I have a hunch that Warrior and Priest will be (at least initially) the most popular C'thun decks

Also, all the cards that have a condition related to C'thun such as the Twilight Darkmender and are SO easy to trigger. Getting C'thun to 10 attack is so trivial - you can just play a decently statted 2 and 3 drop on curve and you're already there. Twin Emperor Vek'lor is pretty insane too.

I can see C'thun decks doing really well against Control decks, as they have so much staying power and dropping C'thun puts in a big body and oftentimes just clears the board. A notable exception to this is if you have Armoursmiths out on the board. I have a hunch rushier decks will become popular to try and beat C'thun decks before they can get Vek'lor/C'thun on the table

CryptoC'thun decks are actually pretty insane. All the cards that buff c'thun aren't understatted at all, the 3 mana 2/1 deal 2 damage give c'thun +2/+2 etc are all really really solid cards.

Also, all the cards that have a condition related to c'thun such as the priest 5 mana 6/5 get +10 health if cthun has 10 attack are SO easy to trigger, getting c'thun to 10 attack is so trivial, especially for all the power effects that require it. You can basically just play a 2 drop and a 3 drop on curve with good stats and bam cthun is at 10 attack.

I can see c'thun decks doing really well against control decks and rushier decks to kill c'thun decks before they can play c'thun/that 7 mana 2 4/6 taunts will crop up a lot imo

Honestly the c'thun decks curve out so well and are so focused on control anyways that its not even control decks that counter them. The only thing that beats another c'thun deck from what i've seen is another c'thun deck that had better draws. Its honestly just stupid to me tbh. The only reason I see myself losing this update is that someone unpacked better c'thun cards than me with either bought or the free packs. I wasn't lucky enough to unpack the 4/2 divine shield minion or the 7/6 6 drop. The most common match-up has been c'thun vs c'thun deck and between those two, whoever gets c'thun in his hand first wins.

Control decks don't counter them at all, I'm saying C'thun decks are good against control decks. That said, I edited my post to make it more clear since you've quoted me. C'thun decks can outlast control decks especially with the ability to regenerate C'thun after playing it - and it's basically a boardclear once you drop it.

I think the 4/2 divine shield minion is one of the worst C'thun cards, actually. The stats are pretty garbage, even with Divine shield. It only trades well against 3 drops but it comes too late for that and stacks up badly against most 4 drops. Especially with the new Warrior taunt minion with 6 health for 4 mana.

It's worth mentioning that I haven't played since before LoE came out so I'm not familiar with those cards or the meta and I could be completely talking out of my ass

Another neat thing is that with all these insane taunt cards (emperor vek'lor, the warrior 2/6 etc), The Black Knight MIGHT see some resurgence which is cool
