oh yeah adjust fuse time / charging time appropriately (so they go the same distance with 0 charge before exploding and take the same time to go from 100% to 0%)

imo make it do max 110 damage so medics don't crater 90% of the time they're hit by it, give it a visual cue of how long until detonation, and make it do less knockback against ubered players

theorycrafting nerfs really shouldn't be top priority imo though, we need focus on getting the weapon banned for next season (especially if it already should have been banned but b4nny fucked us)

I think that until the double donk success rate per loose cannon shot gets absurdly high (don't ask me what percentage we should be looking for), it should be allowed. But I also stand by my suggested change of changing the double donk to 130 damage and initial impact to 65 since it wont put it in the category associated with the sun on a stick. There's only one other class that can really move other classes around as easily as the loose cannon cannonballs, and we already know how a certain froyotech member feels about that. Also, it's somewhat possible but not exactly the safest to slow down an uber with a well placed ground sticky trap

kaidusBut really, the current spread on demo primaries is probably exactly where valve wants it. If MM data stays consistent with current 6v6 there is no way valve make a major balance change to loose cannon based on how much use it sees.

Surely they've learnt their lesson re balancing around equip rates by now

namassinI would much rather ban the direct hit since you can one shot scouts with it at close range- but it makes for sick skybox airshots in beater's frag vids so idk

the difference here being the dhit is trash against scouts with good movement and is too inconsistent to reliably deal damage except for spamming long range across the map
