Right now, there isn't quite enough incentive to use the new GL. It's at its best when you just fire a few above a choke and force people to take damage when coming in, but each roller does 45-ish at most, and that's if they're right on top of it.

I would like to see a GL where the rollers explode if walked over, like the quake GL.

larger "search radius" or w/e you wanna call it to det stickies. you don't have to 180 as hard anymore.

Not quite. The SR dets stickies that are close enough to you and behind you. They merely changed it from detting things within 100 units to things that will hit you if detonated.

ok so I played a lobby as demo after the new changes, and probably the biggest unforeseen consequence with the new update is how much ping now seems to matter in terms of doing damage

it's SO much harder as high ping demo to consistently put out dmg with airdets

That's big news considering ozfortress bans almost all non stock weps in 6v6. I wonder if any other leagues are going to allow it. I can't wait to see one of the top demos use it :)

Let's be clear, this is because we want to see it tested. Would not have done this if there were any active competitions on at the moment.

If you get your charge back with the tide turner (75%) and the wee booties or bootlegger (25%), you can't use your charge anymore, even though you have full charge...

Yeah I noticed that glitch too, but it was when I was using the Claid, when it happened I switched to another class, then straight back to demo and that seemed to fix the issue.

kaidusLong range (eg. house to house on badlands mid) stickies can now do 80+. Ty for buff valve.

Hopefully this is a bug or miscalculation on their part.

If it's intentional then long range well timed stickies shouldn't be dealing over 75.

No I assumed, grappling hooks would make class balance completely and utterly meaningless if they don't have any difference between classes.
