Posting here again, since I've been experimenting with my sens a little.

At the moment I'm running 9.2 inches per 360. 4 sens, 450 dpi, raw input on all my games.

For a while I was running 18 inches per 360, which gave me very stable hitscan aim and decent flicks, but I wasn't able to turn fast enough to avoid getting shot in the butt by scouts.

My main class in TF2 is soldier, typically roamer, but I also play a lot of Quake Live, so I can play most classes reasonably.

36cm/360 or 14.2 inches without accel applied, accel is 0.1, 2.3 power, 5 offset, 3.8 sens cap, works out to ~9.6cm/360 when flicking

took ages to get used to but so worth it

1.6'/360
1,000 DPI.
5.00 in-game sensitivity.
Mouse accel is on, but said to 1, I get weird jitters that I can't work out without it being on.
8/11 Windows multiplier.
Default yaw speed.

And I manage to play Soldier with that, I have no idea how.

So the calculator says I'm at 5.8 inches/360 but when I measure it physically, I can just do a 360 on my QCK mass. (12.6 inch width) I'm almost certain I have no acceleration (besides whatever amount the G500 sensor supposedly has) so what is causing this inconsistency in results?

are you being a dumpster n00b and putting in what bar you're using for the windows sensitivity column or did you actually use the chart

How did you find rocketjumping at that low sens? I just got a qck+ mousemat so I could deccrease my sens, halved it to 22 inch/360 and it's great for every class except soldier, as which I keep hitting the edge of the mousemat while trying to rj :(

Should probably just pick somewhere in the middle but I really love being able to actually aim, for example, the xbow

My windows pointer speed slider is in the middle position (6/11) so I put 1 in the "Windows Multiplier" box.

I didn't have any real issues rocket jumping. Like, I couldn't do surf map style strafes, but I could strafe well enough for any given rollout and most bombs.

I'm pretty sure Raiin runs a 22 inch/360, or has in the past.

I seem to have little problem jumping using a 20 inch sensitivity, although large strafes that require quick turns are hard, as well as looking straight down from straight up from syncs. Checking doorways for stickies can be difficult occasionally; the way around that I use is to have mouse4 bound to make my sensitivity a 10 in. 360 to easily do big movements but to also keep my mouse somewhat in the center of my mousepad.

DPI: 1150
Windows Multiplier: .75 (with mouse fix)
Ingame sens: .89
In. per 360: 21.3
all classes

Thanks Aoshima and EXC0, I appreciate your help. I think my problem is probably also to do with where I normally hold my mouse on the mat. I do have a spare mouse button, maybe I'll use that tip. Cheers
