stopped myself from typing a snarky remark and instead decided to type this instead because i ultimately found this video super disappointing and ultimately just unnecessary and mean for the sake of farming clicks and there is some part of me that wants to actually discuss this over just trying to farm a few upfrags
i assume this isnt your intention at all and also probably assume you couldnt give less of a fuck about my opinion but you also did post this to a public forum so mb in advance
i have watched your videos in the past and found them all relatively funny. i think mostly they serve as very nice summaries of storylines for a more casual viewer who maybe doesnt tune in to all the games but still vaguely follows along the scene. because of this your videos focusing in on b4nny and froyotech makes sense.
while i do think that making a video poking fun at froyo for not being able to go to lan is in pretty poor taste i can still see the appeal. i think most of that part of the video is fine
i just find the rest of the video so incredibly reductive and dismissive of what happened at poland its honestly quite offensive. It comes off as a mean spirited banny sub who didnt actually watch a second of the lan but who felt the need to cover it anyway for the sake of a storyline that was already wrapped up before lan even started.

the story of mandems redemption arc is one of the most compelling i think the game has ever seen. i hope we did a good job of telling this story on broadcast but to see the video literally denote their entire lan into 2 seconds of “oh ye they won btw” after white lotus got knocked out ragebaited me into writing this giant ass essay.
None of this is covered. at all. Instead you choose to include a few clips of white lotus not losing and a clip of lolguy being mad at casters. Why?
Why does this video actually exist? What do you want from it? Its not celebratory at all, i guess it might make some people laugh? Why then not include some actually funny clips of the lan? Is the video trying to tell the story of polan? Why do you then proceed to ignore literally all of the lan? None of the vids ive made about tf2 tourneys are about what actually happened at the tournaments; they're shitposts that are mostly nonsense if you haven't watched the original broadcast (like in the last video where i claimed grands was decided by pyro tennis). For you im sure it sucks to work really hard on something and have they only video about it be a shitpost but that wont be true in a couple weeks when actual highlights come out

I want to add to the fact that hosts and casters (talent in general) say or do something wacky on purpouse to create engagement, which is in other words entertaining. I don't think any of the "fun poking" hellzraizer did in that video were of bad taste, and I'm even more sure that the same talents featured in the video do not actually mind people poking fun of them, unless it's with seriously malevolent cause
