With this cup, we aim to give teams a structured postseason environment to compete, reflect, and adjust their rosters ahead of the upcoming RGL 6s season.
  • Teams will be restricted to one offclass at all times
  • Weapon restrictions being added to the RGL 6s whitelist

So not a postseason environment to compete, reflect, and adjust my roster for next szn. Got it.

We've received several questions and comments regarding our weapon and class restrictions, so I’d like to take a moment to clarify the reasoning behind these decisions.

The recent changes to weapon restrictions are a direct response to ongoing community discussions, specifically surrounding weapons such as the Market Gardener, Quickiebomb Launcher, and Loch-n-Load. These adjustments are intended to maintain balance and align with the evolving consensus on competitive viability.

As for the one-off class rule, its purpose is to discourage overly defensive playstyles such as turtling, which can significantly slow down the pace of the game. By enforcing this rule, we aim to ensure that matches conclude on time and the overall tournament schedule remains on track.
