heard of a dude from a town near where i go to school that murdered his parents + another person and then walked a mile to someone else's house, showed up naked covered in blood.

said he couldnt understand why he was getting downvotes on his teamfortress.tv threads so something just snapped within him and he "saw red"

I vaguely knew a dude in high school who beat a chick to death with a hammer and dumped her body in a landfill 45 minutes away. This was back in 2017, and he took a plea a year or so ago and only has to serve another 5 years out of a 10 year sentence, since he'd been incarcerated since the murder happened half a decade ago.

My partner at the time and I went to a park in the evening to celebrate my birthday. We liked this park because it served as a public sanctuary for stray cats. The very next morning, we learn that a lady who frequently volunteered to care for the strays was murdered in that very same park, just hours after we were there. A crazed christian fundamentalist followed her around, took her life, and ran to a nearby church, confessing in a hysterical fit.

someone i used to buy weed from took his ex and her bf hostage at gunpoint, locked them up, then got in a shootout with police abd threw some sort of homemade bomb before he got arrested.

At my last job, someone (not an employee) in the area shot and killed a guy over a money dispute, then fled into our parking lot. Big old guy everyone loved went out back and was very calmly like "Hey man, you really can't be here now" while the dude still had a gun lmao. Dude ran and I think he got caught? Honestly don't remember.

I missed a train by 5 seconds and then there was a shooting on that train 5 minutes later. If I walked any faster I would have been on it. I watched it pull off. Also someone also put a bomb on the train I used to take everyday but it just blew a hole in the ceiling of the car and no one died.
