erik is the best player i have ever played with an insane scout with dm like no other he's always dedicated to improving and is very fun and enjoyable to play with he has some slight tilting issues but other than that he's a beast pickup for low-mid adv s9

funny scout man

as a tf2 player, idk what i can say about erik that others probably don't really already know, but yeah this kid is like a machine. extremely talented, high skill ceiling imo, very dedicated to learning and getting better. good teammate on a team built with the dedication to go far in playoffs and potentially win. would not be surprised to see this kid in invite in another season or two. a good pickup for that reason alone

as a teammate/friend, this kid is fucking hilarious. i've been in/around circles that this kid has been in for like 3 seasons now and i talk to him pretty much daily. he's got a great sense of humor and is just enjoyable to be around outside of like a pug/scrim/official environment. also he's got funny twitter likes, take that as you will.

my only criticism is that he lets his ego get to him on rare occasions and can create a tilted environment that can normally just easily be mitigated, but he carries that ego into everything comp tf2 related (dm servers, pugs, etc.). I have yet to play an actual official with him but i can't imagine this issue is as common in more serious environments as it is in less serious environments.

Y'all have heard and will hear everything you need to know about .erik as a player, so let me speak on .erik as a teanmate. At the beginning of this season, after every scrim I'd have something to say to .erik. I need you to play closer to beam on mid, I need you to get buffed before we push last, I need you to get a gun up earlier, I need you to let your soldier go for the force here and just play your life. Sometimes it can be hard for the best player on a team to take feedback. .erik is out here lighting up the logs while I'm nitpicking. But he listened. He helped develop a collective vision of how the team could achieve success, and he bought into the process fully. He listened to my feedback on how he could fit into our team playstyle better, he listened to his roamer explain how he could be a better flank partner, he listened to his pocket scout explain how he could be a better scout partner. He put the feedback he was given into practice, and he provided valuable feedback on how his teammates could support him better in his role.

Then, when my hell semester caught up to me, he took over scheduling without complaints. He took over the responsibilities of leading the team while school kept me away from the game, and kept us afloat. A lot of teams would have died if put into the situation we were the last three weeks of the season. We didn't, .erik wouldn't let it happen.

Takes feedback well, buys into a process even if it doesn't fit the playstyle he came into the season with and will step up to take responsibility when it needs to happen. He'll tilt occassionally, but he does a good job keeping it to himself and gets himself back on track when it happens. You couldn't ask for more.

Its even funnier because rat boy doesn't realize that hes the reason why their team didn't do as well as they should have, they would have been better off with a level 2 dispenser :v

Pick up .erik tho he next up hes got crazy mechanics if u give him a season to learn from someone more experienced he'll be top adv easy
