thoughts? great to have actual competitive tf2 people involved and sigafoo is certainly experienced but will he try to create some wacky new format for the competitive side or has he learnt from rgl 7v7?

I'm really excited to be involved in this.

I can say at a high level, there is active development being done. We're focusing on Trad. Sixes Competitively and, separately, making a better casual experience.

I'll be reaching out to many players over the coming weeks to get thoughts, feedback, and to begin testing the new systems.

I'm not that interested in the faceit 6s system considering it had its run and ive personally seen how close the RGL pug system is to being playable but the casual faceit is already very good and i think any improvements to it will be well received.

think this is gonna be promising but this community is just gonna waste this opportunity again and it's gonna die for inhouse pug groups that have a 1 month lifespan

at least in NA I don't think there are any particularly strong inhouses that wouldn't shift over to faceit (assuming they have a better captain system than last time)

the biggest concern would be RGL pugs but it's very hard to see those coming out in <2 seasons, so faceit definitely has a time window to try 6s again, hopefully with support and advice from more than one top player.
