it'll take like 5 minutes
if you don't want to vote for either then spoil your ballot instead.

No matter who you think will win, or who you want to win. Go and Vote.

Edit: People below, Shut the fuck up. We don't care what your thoughts are on candidates. Just vote no matter who you want. Don't sit on a website for a video game and try and "slander" people voting for who you don't like. Its not going to get anything thing done.

When November comes,
Go out there and cast your vote,
For orange man is bad.

The fact you voted with your conscience will be a huge comfort to the millions who have lost family members to the pandemic, the migrant children being systematically separated from their parents, and all the peaceful protesters who were gassed and beaten in the street or lost an eye to rubber bullets.

Human trafficking has been acknowedged to be a serious problem on the USA Mexico border(especially children). That being known, you think that unidentified groups of people with children crossing the border should be kept together? It's a pretty well known fact it's much harder for victims of abuse to report there abusers when in the presence of said abuser.
I agree it probably puts a great deal of stress on the parents and their children who are separated, but I would rather help the children who are literally being raped to death than save them from stress and discomfort.

man i hate trump for doing these things better vote for the other guy so we can keep doing these things
could you imagine shaming someone for voting third party, when the two mainstream parties have offered us nothing in the past 20 some years?
i dont like trump but what is biden seriously gonna do thats gonna save this country, increase the military spending while denying universal healthcare and student loan forgiveness? opening the arctic to drilling while leasing land for domestic fracking? who tf are you people seriously preaching to. tell me how voting third party, to move away from this unipolitical quagmire that is american politics, is worse?? people arent voting for joe biden cause hes the greatest candidate to ever grace the ballot, hes just not trump.
almost a hundred million people didnt vote in 2016. not because they were SO TORN between the two candidates, its was because no matter who was in office, those people would never get:
-public school reform
-prison system reform
-an end to the endless wars in the middle east
-universal healthcare or at least cheaper healthcare for all americans
-student loan forgiveness
-any long lasting environmental policy
-an end to the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs
-an end to the two parties that do nothing but pass each others legislative agenda

bragging about who you're voting for/not voting for and shaming people about who they're voting for/not voting for are both absolutely pathetic, you're not gonna convince anyone and voting is by definition the smallest unit of political activism possible so if you really care that much go out there and phone bank for your candidate

to be clear, I also think anyone voting for Trump is either a psycho or a total dupe, but if they're still with him at this point I don't see how yelling at them is gonna change that!

and non-voters/third party voters are also gonna get more entrenched in their position if you try to blame them for problems caused by extremely powerful elected officials, it's on the Biden campaign to earn their votes (and if they don't live in a swing state then it LITERALLY doesn't matter)

my own personal feelings are complicated and not worth delving into right now but this applies regardless

im assuming you havent read any of biden policies at all OR you’re just privileged enough that any policy driven through by either party isn’t going to have any greater effect on your life whatsoever.

Any progress is beneficial for somebody, no matter how slow it is.

klassyim assuming you havent read any of biden policies at all OR you’re just privileged enough that any policy driven through by either party isn’t going to have any greater effect on your life whatsoever.

Any progress is beneficial for somebody, no matter how slow it is.

Obama ran on a massively left platform at the time in 2008 and then proceeded to do essentially none of the things he promised even though the dems had a supermajority in the house and senate. Give that Biden was his running mate and they're both bred from the same power-entrenched ilk there is no reason to believe anything on Biden's platform will be fought for in any capacity

This argument might make sense if you were talking to someone who wasn't voting, or was voting 3rd party in a swing state, but even then, the whole "people who complain about how shitty American politics are are upper middle class white people who don't understand anything" is not true at all. The 100 million people who don't vote in this country aren't a majority privileged class, they're poor, young, disenfranchised, and largely POC.

And this sentiment that "any progress is good don't complain :)" is consistently used to co-opt actual meaningful change, and used to justify shittier policies that are strictly worse than what was promised (see ACA). Also, this sentiment doesn't apply when we're facing down literal climate doom and its either you go all in, or we all die. Neither candidate is going all in.

I'm voting for Biden because Trump blows and lifting up orgs and people that will criticize him and his fellow milquetoast liberals nonstop sounds a lot more fun that worrying about my LGBT+ and immigrant friends for another 4 years (but Biden won't really do anything to fix their situation all things considered). But as mustardoverlord pointed out, I don't think slapping some rando on the wrist for saying "hey this blows" is very productive

bidens been in office for 50 years. hes had 50 years to make some progress, to actually offer something to progressive voters instead of rallying behind the idea that he can convince the fucking like 5 conservative voters he thinks he can swing to vote blue in the american west.

i dont say this to be slanderous or mean, but you europeans really do not understand american politics. oh his policy page says he supports universal healthcare and environmental issues that must mean they will become realities when he is president!!!!!! those things will never happen. and to make matters worse, you have people pledging their support MONTHS in advanced saying they will vote for joe biden no matter what, so why the fuck would he have any obligation to actually do anything for his voters???? they are already voting for him so they dont care what he does!

we do not have two parties, we do not have a battle of republican values versus democratic values, we have two parties working together to continously ensure that their donor class of friends benefit while the remainder of us suffer under their boot of unescapable debt, unaffordable health care, crushing work cultures, prevailing poverty, the eradication of the middle class, and a plummeting standard of living.

9/10 of democratic voters want universal healthcare and student loan forgiveness, and the MAJORITY of republican voters want these things too. please stop saying i need to look at his policies, please stop saying im too privilaged to understand. joe biden will give us fucking NOTHING other than a paved road for a worse trump to take power in 2024.
