ABOUT

It is time for the big rematch atleast some of us have been waiting for! Division 2 Finals are upon us and the last time The Compound and Delivered have faced each other it was a tie back in W4. Will Storm ever be a Div1 Scout in any gamemode again? Will Lucky return to be a caster main?
A close game for is upon us for sure with only one thing for certain, The Zoo wont be playing it.

Casted by eepily & Kermit with ArchRhythm on production.

It is ridicolous how admins do not care about what their players have to say. Literally noone agrees with their decision and yet they still decided to give us a def loss. Afaik nobody from delivered reported anything and they acknowledged that we won fairly. All we got fucked by was your flawed script. #justiceforthezoo

ceejaey is the only late joiner to the roster and he should only count as 1 point by the admin's rules cos hes div 1 in 6s. how do they decide hes 2 points thats bs?

playoffs of a tier count as the tier above (high/d1 playoffs = prem)

It's very unlucky that CJ's matches were played with the old div 1 double elimination system in the playoffs. With the new system (single elim) there would never have been a problem at all. It's also pretty weird that CJ was allowed to play medic in mid the season before this, but now in D2 it's a problem (even if he joined late).

the fact that there seems to be no consistent standard on whats allowed before preliminary tiers compared to the zero tolerance policy for late joiners is what annoys me the most tbh.
low teams can have 3-4 mid players sign up for low and be fine but the moment you try to get more experienced players later its warnings/defaults, regardless of if your team had anyone over your divs experience level or not
also kinda sad that the class limit thing wasnt really done this season, as much as that needs better execution it prolly would help to not let HL prem snipers or whatever ruin low divs for newer players

go stuff ur mouth with tikka u clown

Edit: also a kinda serious point. Bans are almost always done in waves, so the fact this wasn't done in a wave is kinda bad.

Do the admins request demos privately from players and not on match pages?

I say this because I looked at every match page from this season the compound played and godmode had 0 requests on them. There was one request in HL that he did upload and one from last HL season that he didn't, but I didn't see any other requests so having one missing should just be a minor warning.

The only bans that are actually done in waves on etf2l are for VAC banned accounts. The ban newsposts that come out on the site contain the list of everyone that has received a ban since the last post was published, including any bans that have already expired. Maybe that's where the misconception comes from?

so when thaigrr missed his demo request a few seasons back why wasn't he instantly banned and disallowed from playing the playoffs? where's the consistency lol

You referring to this game? http://etf2l.org/matches/71556/

If so, that actually was the case that led to us changing the system, and banning players asap after demo requests instead of waves.

Was there a post saying these changes were made? (genuinely curious and cba to look through 6months of etf2l page) seems kinda strange that these penalties are effective immediately cos looking at the rules page it has no mention of when these penalties are actually going to be given out and really sus that it's literally happening on the day of the grand finals and similar sus stuff happening in the semis

also what kermit said, the official notice of the match page comment for the ban is coming after the player already received the ban?
