#30 ETF2L S34 Div2 GF: The Compound vs. Delivered in Events
SpriteAlesKeeSpriteAlesKeeThe only bans that are actually done in waves on etf2l are for VAC banned accounts. The ban newsposts that come out on the site contain the list of everyone that has received a ban since the last post was published, including any bans that have already expired. Maybe that's where the misconception comes from?
_KermitDo the admins request demos privately from players and not on match pages?

I say this because I looked at every match page from this season the compound played and godmode had 0 requests on them. There was one request in HL that he did upload and one from last HL season that he didn't, but I didn't see any other requests so having one missing should just be a minor warning.
The match comment was posted recently: http://etf2l.org/matches/77199/

so when thaigrr missed his demo request a few seasons back why wasn't he instantly banned and disallowed from playing the playoffs? where's the consistency lol
You referring to this game? http://etf2l.org/matches/71556/

If so, that actually was the case that led to us changing the system, and banning players asap after demo requests instead of waves.

Was there a post saying these changes were made? (genuinely curious and cba to look through 6months of etf2l page) seems kinda strange that these penalties are effective immediately cos looking at the rules page it has no mention of when these penalties are actually going to be given out and really sus that it's literally happening on the day of the grand finals and similar sus stuff happening in the semis

also what kermit said, the official notice of the match page comment for the ban is coming after the player already received the ban?

found the post: http://etf2l.org/2018/05/21/monday-night-bans-staff-and-rule-update/

the late admin comment on the matchpage was a result of some admin miscommunication (the player was contacted earlier though)

#3 tf_use_match_hud 1 in TF2 General Discussion

Lots of people played without it for years and dont feel the need to have it, also it eats a bit of fps so people with potato pc's might prefer not to have it.

Cant think of any other reasons you wouldn't use it.

#60 [S33] Class Restrictions in TF2 General Discussion
TobI'm really glad about the transparency and such, but I wish better methods were being used to go about the restricting. Right now it just seems like admins go through some of the players manually which takes too much time so there's very obvious cases that are being missed (as have been pointed out in this thread already)

I totally understand admins already have enough work and going through every single player's history would take way too long, but if the system currently in place allows for some players to be overlooked through sheer luck things need to be handled differently. Had they not have been pointed out in this thread, many wouldn't have been restricted all season.

Like league admin Proky having played prem sniper but being allowed to snipe in mid. AlesKee, his teammate, manages the class restriction thread. Not trying to accuse them of knowingly ignoring it but dear god that's such an oversight and shouldn't happen if the system in place was actually functioning the way it should

There are no highlander restrictions above low in 6v6, it is stated in the etf2l thread.

MentyAlesKeeAdded cookye to the listso cookye having played 2 games in 2019 on scout is unacceptable whereas profix playing actively is ok to mainclass as scout in mid? Interesting decision

profix added to the list as well.

Jynxiistopping a literal heavy main from playing heavy in 6s..

A team that ran a perma heavy on product came 3rd in low last season.

GazThere are people that are being stopped from playing engineer and spy what the fuck am I reading

All of these seemingly pointless highlander restrictions are for the sake of consistency, and are only a thing in the low division.
