If you die with rockets loaded in the Beggars Bazooka and somebody picks it up, they will immediately fire all of them when they pick it up

i've seen a bug mentioned where the main menu screen looks very pixelated. this bug actually has been in the game before.
the problem is that the picture that's used, scales with the cvar mat_picmip.
some of us have this cvar set to 1 or 2 because of fps-configs, thus making the picture look like crap. i don't think there's a fix other than setting mat_picmip to anything lower (-1 for max quality).
the problem with this fix is that this cvar controls all textures, which increases loading times and drops fps.

this has happened before, but that instance is/those instances are fixed already.

Taunting then picking up a dropped weapon while on top of the final payload point will end the round. Only certain weapons work with certain classes (eg Heavy with shotgun). No clue how to find which class/weapon combos work aside from trial and error.

When inspecting someone's gun while alive your ammo disappears from the HUD, and if you die, you respawn without damage numbers until you inspect someone elses items again.

A friend of mine and I tested it with stock and custom HUDs, and it's broke on both.

Idk if this is intentional ,
demoman bootie gives you 10% speed as it says but if you are using eyelander with speedboost or Skullcutter ,you get more or less speed boost from bootie. which makes demoman with 4heads faster than scout.
It seems a bit ridiculous to me .

Silentes has been running it in pickups, he is faster than a scout and has 350 hp. It's insane, and even with the obvious downsides of the loadout the raw speed and health can make it work. Madness.

Silentes has been running it in pickups, he is faster than a scout and has 350 hp. It's insane, and even with the obvious downsides of the loadout the raw speed and health can make it work. Madness.

  • Killing yourself with the Quickiebomb Launcher shows the Stickybomb Launcher killfeed icon.
  • Posthumous kills with the Air Strike use the Rocket Launcher killfeed icons.
  • Soap doesn't disable when tournament mode starts. Not sure if TF2, Sourcemod, or Soap bug.
  • Deathcam in tournament mode shows camera hovering above your corpse, looking constantly at the player that killed you, until you revive.
  • Match timers don't enable for tournament mode, only round timers do (the ones that reset on captures).
  • The "Remember last active weapon on respawn" advanced option is broken.
  • Explosive jump changes of all sorts.
  • Sentry and Boston Basher jumps are broken.
  • Crusader's Crossbow is missing its original description: "Fires special bolts that heal teammates and deal damage based on distance traveled".
  • The Crusader's Crossbow, Huntsman, and Rescue Ranger cannot damage sentries.
  • The Vaccinator does not build uber at full speed during warmup.
  • Stickies have no damage falloff.
  • Some players are seeing black textures in maps.

These are fixed.

It makes sense for the Beggar's Bazooka to be this way. Ammo currently in the clip and ammo in reserve are tied to the weapon when you pick it up. Since the Beggar's Bazooka has to pre-load rockets, it would make sense for the rockets to fire as soon as you pick up the gun, as you wouldn't have time to cancel the fire animation.

my game keeps validating in a loop. any fix..?
if i try the verifying cache thing, it does the exact same thing.
it validates until 100%, then just starts validating again..

the last update did the same, and i just deleted all content and downloaded the whole game from scratch. but i don't really feel like doing that again :/

edit: did a reinstall and it's fixed again. couldn't find another solution that worked.

Not sure if a bug or intended, but overtime on Powerhouse never ends, even when capture progress on mid fully rolls back. If the round timer runs out, the announcer says overtime, but you keep playing until someone caps last.

I don't know if this happened to anyone else but my pc now runs tf2 smoothly instead of stuttering and my FPS is now normal. Was there an unnoted patch?

P.S. They fixed the viewmodel of the heavy's hand on the regular minigun(It now shows a complete hand with the arm attached unlike before)

Is anyone else getting BS health numbers when crossbow healing teamates as medic?

Say a soldier is at 150 HP, I'll arrow him and I'll get like a 104 health healing number on my hud.

I can only imagine that valve screwed up and healing arrows are counting overdamage/overhealing or something.

will weapon skins ever be optimized? I had to switch to dx81 with its bad colors and clogged up sniper scope because I only get 40fps on dx9 now but 200fps on dx81
