I think it will feel bigger because you don't walk to mid in a straight line. Might put it on my server and play on it with friends these days.
This map looks very big. Is this map very big?

It should be noted that if your intentions are to simply get a decent quality video at regular fps out of a demo, the easiest way would be to simply play the demo and record it with dxtory. If you have a sufficiently fast hard drive and processor, that is.
I have to ask though... why?
I'm using a DA right now and it is basically good, except that I have no grip on it
(see http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/9691/ ) and it's somewhat heavy. I got a Zowie evo EC1 and it should be here tomorrow. The new Zowies are said to have pretty much the perfect sensor and I heard lots of good things about the ergonomics too. Plus they are extremely lightweight. I will post impressions about it when I came to try it. As for the pad, I'm using the qck+ and it's great. Huge, nice feel, mouse glides over it just fine and reasonable price.
Justinisokaymy death adder black is starting to fall apart (coating on the mouse chipping, the braiding on the cable fraying). whats the best Zowie EC mouse for a big hand/palm grip user? i remember there being a thread stating one is better for claw and the other for palm
The EC1 is the palm one because it is bigger. But if you have very small hands I guess you can go for the EC2.
Idk, I guess I just am an alien and have to embrace my alien powers.
In a quick test with household objects I came to the following results:
Good grip: Plastic trashcan, mirror, glass jar, smartphone
Bad grip: Rubber toothbrush, shaver handle
I think buying the glossy mouse was one of my best component related decisions ever.
I don't really see what the G400s has over the G400. I never owned one though, so I have no idea.
just upload them anywhere and post the link.
@picture why does whoever made the poster put the Zowie FK in a different tier than the evo ECs? From what I read, they are the same mouse, except the FK is ambidextrous and the ECs are right-handed.
There's a rubber grip on the sides? I recently got a DA, and there's rubber under it if that's what you're talking about. It seems to attract alot of dust with in only in 2-3 days, might this have something to do with your hands needing to get wet?
EDIT: here's the image link triplemint:
No, I have the black edition and it's rubber coated all around. What I'm talking about is that I seem to have a naturally great grip on all "slick" surfaces and conversely a bad grip on everything that is rough and rubber-coated.
In fact, if I flip my Adder over and put my fingers on the plastiv at the bottom, I have better grip on that than on the mouse itself (without wetting the hand).
...I'm really the only one?
Ever since I had my Deathadder, I was pretty satisfied with it, except that for some weird reason I have absolutely horrible grip on it as long as my hand is dry. I bought it mostly because I thought the rubber would give me amazing grip but it's actually quite the opposite. If I just use the mouse normally and try to play, I would have to cramp my hand around it full force and would probably lose the hand before landing a good shot. When my hand is slightly we though, the grip becomes pretty good, however the level of moisture has to be exact, otherwise it gets slippery. I decided that I don't want to use cleaning tissues as gaming peripherals so I am buying a Zowie mouse now, after using the Adder for only a few months. I am buying the Evo Ec1 white because I realized that I actually have phenomenal grip on smooth surfaces and I have no idea why. I have some old plastic mice and they give me better grip than the adder dry. And I have better grip on the smooth plastic mice than on the rough ones.
Bottom line: The less rough the surface, the better the grip.
Am I an alien? Or are there others who experience the same?
Does anyone actually have the EC1 white? I read that these are generally great mice so I just went for it. Didn't have an opportunity to actually test it so I hope it wil be good.
