Holy shit, this is good.
However, when I activate lightboost, my colors get all changed up.
I never understood why some people had color problems with the Asus. Some people reportet a purple-ish hue. I always had pretty perfect colors and completely neutral greys.
But when I turn on lightboost it actually becomes kind of purple. It actually looks extremely CRT now (minus the radiation).
It's weird but I'm okay with it because I can turn it off and have the colors be neutral again when I'm done tf2ing.
On a sidenote: I wonder if having lightboost on actually causes more eye strain (like CRTs do) because it is now constantly "flickering" on and off. Anyone know about that?

You, sir, made my day.
I was hoping for this to happen so much. I almost resigned and try to grab a labtop from a friend to hotwire my monitor to enable lightboost.
THANK YOU
I don't get this whole steam artwork thing. I can understand that people are unknowingly infringing copyrights.
I mean what is this supposed to be? Is it a part of your profile like a background picture? An addition to your steam library to represent your favorite games? An actual gallery for people to collect steam game-related artwork similar to the workshop? Just an alternative to screenshots to show your friend game related images without owning the game?
This whole new profile is so confusing and the gallery so weird and "out of place" that I can understand that many people probably treat it like youtube backgrounds (back when that was a thing). And let's be honest, 90% of us check "I have read the blabla and agree to blabla and certify that blabla" boxes without a second look.
This does not mean that we shouldn't report it though, since that doesn't harm anybody and will just alert people that the artwork section is reserved to your own works and that the original artists can be hurt from having their works republished on something as big as steam-
This has all been discussed to death, please don't start it again.
I would be interested in seeing what came out of the pugs though and know if Sal/Extine have actually sent a letter with bugs and suggestions to valve as planned.
I have a server running for that purpose:
http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/8078-i-have-a-server-for-you
It's nocrit/nospread with class limits and a selection of custom and default maps.
Due to lack of interest I have a password on it atm and use it only for private games with friends.
If there is any interest here again I will gladly remove the password and have it open again.
If you can replicate the crosshair in photoshop you can make it rainbow.
Post a pic of it, or even better find the font that hudas uses to simulate it.
Or, if it actually uses a picture for the crosshair, just post that and I'll make it rainbow for you.
That makes no sense whatsoever. Also average wii games are around 4GB and I guess you would need more than 1 second to download them.
