I unironically believe channels like officerreekz are invaluable for the transfer of knowledge with scrim povs, habib casts, etc being uploaded.

fixes
- scatter2_shadow2 shouldn't bleed color out of the dot anymore. Didn't test, but fixed the same issue before similarly. lmk
- ql3_thick was actually ql2_thick all along. Name changed to reflect that. I usually just guess which one is 2 and 3. Guessed wrong that time
- ql2_big got changed? ngl lads this is something I did months ago and don't remember this. so your guess is as good as mine

mightve fucked up a VTF flag if you edited that one
if you did, save again and make sure to check these
VTF flags
- no mipmap
- no level of detail
- no minimum mipmap
- eight bit alpha

yes, you can open the crosshair in an editor (gimp and paint.net both are free and have VTF plug-ins)
then edit the colors you want, then use a "white" crosshair in-game and it'll be the correct colors
