it's kinda funny how when mixup went undefeated last season everyone was falling over themselves to either praise them or decry them for killing tf2, whereas when bp went undefeated this season everyone was like "oh yeah, those guys"

I think you value the skill of chess club a bit too high. While mix^ may very well defeat HRG, I don't see chess club doing the same. visitor is too inconsistent and alfa's tendency to die will be too much of a downfall against HRG's re-pushing ability. I even predict full torqued could beat chess club if they work on their DM. Brad's play calling is game changing. I personally predict Mix^>HRG>Chess>FT the fact that clock is on scout will be too much for FT's weak scout play and the adjustment of zbryan and seagull switch will place them fourth. mix^'s players are too smart and experienced for HRGs less experienced players like lansky.

thorn_I don't agree with enigma's ranking at all, his DM is very strong on soldier.

Likewise. We all saw at s12 LAN that he was a playmaker, and with the roster now, that just lets him do exactly that even more.

I have a feeling that the lack of scrims will hurt mixups chances, but who knows.. lan can be oh so unpredictable!

Mixup has picked up their scrimming schedule as shown in Plat's recent series of streams.

In all honesty I think Mixup will falter because of enigma. He's an amazing scout, but his roamer just isn't there yet. That paired with Mixup's lack of practice is really going to help BP take this.

Enigma is actually doing perfectly fine. He can beat TLR and even Platinum in MGE so his DM is good. He was already a playmaker as shown in big pyro play's, decent sniping, and the heavy respawn on snakewater (He didn't just do it on LAN, he also did it S11 vs Pinball Wizards). He also has some of the most experience in invite like all of Mixup. The roamer role will give him more space to make plays, and with his DM he should be able to hold flanks very well. I expect him to outplay Visitor when playing Chess Club and he will either put up a fight or even match zBryan and Taggerung.

EDIT: I just was told by platinum that enigma can't beat him.

No offense to slin, but in my experience, its normally the ex inviters that gives the best lan previews when it comes to reliability and accuracy with the exception of DJC maybe. Anything else will just lead to endless arguments between invite players/fanboys/everyone which is pretty much just a waste of time.

With that being said, mixup probably pulls ahead of all teams (obviously) when it comes to winning scrims , but then again they have never played against bp in the off season as far as I am aware of, so who knows what's going to happen on lan.

When it comes to individual performance, despite alfa, seanbud, myself, and the other lan virgins attending our first esea lan, I do feel like lansky and shrugger probably has the biggest pressure on them to succeed because we all know what happened at that previous lan.

I'm not saying Enigma is better than TLR or Platinum, I'm just saying he does have the DM to help him out. And it's not like he's going to play dumb either.

visitnigVisitor's comment

Totally agree with you there. But nobody did it and I thought it would be interesting.

With clockwork no longer going to LAN though, these preds are officially irrelevant now haha.

Weeble knew that it was in the team’s best interests to use Clockwork, and he bowed out.

I guess you could say that weeble got...

Great article to get people excited for LAN. Cyzer is great and will shake up your scout assessment.

Also, can anyone link a vid of Weeble's sniper spree in cp process vs don't trip?
