Greetings guys, It was a major bummer that the song ended up making the movie being blocked in Sweden where Old_Grandma is so the guy i made the video for cant even watch it on youtube :( but fuck it there was nothing we could do with it except to maybe change the pitch of the song which will more than likely sound messed up. Or remake the entire movie with different song but I just cannot be arsed.

Anyway, its a feelgood throwback video starring Old_Grandma. He is an old school tf2 player (2008-13) and was in prem div EU; a lot of the soldier clips are from official matches. He's also the self-proclaimed (the only type of proclaimed there is) doublemix king extraordinaire. As absurd as it may sound, when i was making the video I pictured Biggie Smalls as a tf2 player rapping along to his gameplay like he was romancing the enemies lol. So if you can brb use imagination and watch it from that perspective i hope you can find clips like 'she mad cause what we had didn't last' as hilarious as i do. The title might seem a bit in your face but its really not meant to be that serious, its funny shit and kick-ass frags mixed together.

I'm not gonna try and make excuses, I'm just gonna go ahead and make them. The clips are from 2012-13 and there were a lot of graphical and audio glitches. Also when you add that to the fact i'm really shit at editing third persons i hope you can forgive the jankiness lmao. Overall though, I'm happy with how the movie turned out and i had a blast making it.. All the recorded files are gone now that i've got my new pc setup and idk why it happened but the image quality really fucked up and is quite blurry in some clips. If i could re-render it, i would.

I want to give a shoutout first and foremost to Old_Grandma of course so here goes; do one mate. Also shoutout to Sail who showed me how to make black and white appear from one side of the screen; without his help i wouldn't have been able to do the paint the block moment in the intro. I dedicate the movie to the tf2 community, the most chilled gaming community and its my farewell love letter to tf2 (best game ever) and tf2 related videos cause it has the best community created video library of any game by far.

I like your music taste. You would probably enjoy this song the beat has so much going on, you could listen to it 12 times a day and still find something new every time.

That clip really was something special. You know, I tried giving each clip it's own clearly defined section of the music with each clip having a clear beginning and end in relation to the song whilst making the lyrics as literally appropriate as possible. Old_Grandma likes the way I edit cause he's a bit bonkers like me and I can see how It might not sit well with most people cause it's more like a slow burn but to me it adds a lot of replay value to the video. That clip was something else though, It's bloody 40 seconds long and it synced almost 100% with the music. I don't think I've seen any other unedited TF2 clip as long as that one sync so much with a piece of music. I didn't do fuck all besides putting it in the right place; the players orchestrated everything lmaooo by being funny af and the sync just happened naturally. Watching that clip with the volume on blast is pure bliss for me.

Similarly, Yugoslavian Tactic https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hbar45qWEFw&t=265s ends on a high note with the clip at 4:23. That was another uniquely TF2 moment that sat nicely upon a section of the music that would otherwise have been s nightmare to sync to. Poor Turbomonkey though, you didn't deserve to fall victim to that soldiers obliviousness (is that a word?). That's the best of my old videos though it has its own fair share of problems. Avoid Aiming for Le Stars though, it was rushed af and has like zero sync. Actually watch it on mute lol cause granny's always entertaining to watch.

It's crazy to think that you made a fragvid entirely with frags from before I even started playing ETF2L, 6 years down the line. Only in TF2.

Cyanici admire your courage working with demos that old.

You know, its been so long that I started making the video that a couple weeks ago I did a search on Google to see if there's a fix for invisible weapons in old demos only to find the first result on Google being some OG called Armofdiarrhoea asking the same thing 2 years ago and I'd completely forgotten he'd done so.

But yeah, at times it was a headache. The main problem was it so hard getting a decent thirdperson cause viewmodels were jittery af in most of the clips and some demos stopped working entirely so I couldn't even use them for thirdpersons.
