mechanically disgusting and a quick learner, roster my boy
we need advanced back the best div 2 teams keep offing themselves
already really good, going to be absolutely disgusting in 2 seasons max. he has an insanely good improvement mentality and I fully expect to see him drastically improve going forwards.
Most niche internet communities naturally breed a toxic environment. I've been on forums for various sciences I'm interested in and even those have toxicity and mob mentality. Would I say the paleontology community is toxic because of said forums? Definitely not. I will say the situation in TF2 is generally better than games where you're playing competitive on a ladder system, because reputation is a factor at play. I've had my run ins with groups of toxic people before, but if you keep to yourself and don't antagonize them you'll generally be just fine. More often than not you'll be able to find a team with an environment that suits your personality, and you'll be able to meet great people through that medium.
the perfect way to end 2020 would be for both presidential candidates to fucking die of the plague
ireflatlineActually yeah for between invite and div1 they should be relaxed even more I was just thinking about the other divisionsi'd agree if we weren't actively struggling to fill invite. remember that this season was supposed to have 8 team invite. in convos i've had, RGL are against moving teams up directly so there has to be some way to dissuade people from just playing d1, although i do understand being frustrated with inconsistency in that
I don't see how these class restrictions are a superior option to just moving teams up directly.
mustardoverlordforcing div 2 players to confront mirrorman on pyro was the one thing that could've saved tf2, it's over now, we are no longer an esport
you dont realize how bad losing to mirrorman's pyro would feel
The restrictions in div 2 aren't any better, trust me. The scout I was going to roster, yumyum, is restricted from playing scout after placing 2nd on the shiningstar team. However, the guy who went undefeated in the same div before is allowed to play combo scout again. Dumbest shit I've ever had to deal with.
5'7 but kinda good at med i guess
Let's fucking go James you're gonna slam
ghadilliGGs Jag and friends! You guys really are the better team!
Hey don't get discouraged man, you'll get there soon! Just stay calm and keep practicing!
carterJaguar’s post is full of truthful statements. I have decided to step down from both competitive TF2 and moderating this website (hence why I changed my name back to black). I have tried being mentored a handful of times and retained very little from it. I lack the gamesense and general awareness that this game requires to make any kind of reasonable progress as a player, and have decided that I want to spend my time doing different things.
Woahwoahwoah, don't let this incident totally turn you away from TF2 forever assuming you're still passionate about the game. Nobody is a permabad player, don't let yourself think that you as a human being are incapable of improvement. Weather it be TF2 or anything else, improvement comes with consistent effort over a long period of time. I'd be willing to bet that if you really buckled down, watched tons of demos, grinded dm, & talked with better players, your skill level would go up proportionally. If I were you, I'd take a break to let the stress settle and come back to the decision in a clearer head space.
