Se7en reunites with kaidus, are looking for their 4th straight title

With last season’s victory granting them tickets to play in the Copenhagen Games 2019, Se7en will have more to play for than usual, as the season before LAN usually sees teams smoothing out their edges. kaidus has retrieved his usual Demoman spot from Domo, who performed really well subbing for an injured kaidus that lasted the entirety of Season 31. The experience and coolness from kaidus has shown to be decisive in many of the team's games, and so the British veteran will be looking forward to actually playing again.

Season 31 was a big success for Se7en, picking up their 3rd Premiership gold medal in a row, and their 8th in total. They dropped only one map in the regular season, and one more in the playoffs, both times to runners-up Ascent.EU, who looked like the only ones to put Se7en out of their comfort zone.

Team leader kaidus reaffirmed his team's ambition for LAN, as well as detailing how he personally felt after his hiatus :

Looking forward to the season, the main ambition for this lineup is Copenhagen but our goal is always to win every competition we play so that's what we will try to do. Personally I've found taking a season off to be very refreshing - there is rust to shake off for sure, but I feel more motivated toward the game in general than I have in a long time. As a team we have a lot of room for improvement but I'm confident we will reach our level in time for play-offs and lan.

Thalash and Thaigrr return as one of the most versatile scout duos on the planet, where the aggression and DM from Thaigrr and Thalash’s uncanny ability to never die makes them a frustratingly perfect one-two combo. Thalash also tied with credu for the Scout of the Season award for Season 31. The soldier pair is not without silverware, as kaptain and Starkie both picked up Pocket and Roamer of the Season respectively, kaptain jumping a bit further ahead with an additional Best Player of the Season award. Their coordinated assaults were extremely effective, especially thanks to their graceful bombs. As mentioned above, kaidus rejoined to spearhead his team once more. Finally, Raymon’s very solid gameplay last season earned him his 3rd Medic of the Season award.

Ready to stay on top and carry their good form into LAN, the Se7en roster is :

  • Scout: Thalash
  • Scout: Thaigrr
  • Roamer: Starkie
  • Pocket: kaptain
  • Demoman: kaidus
  • Medic: Raymon

cini really like the individual awards etf2l has like player of the season, it'd be cool if na had anything of the sort

approached bleh about doing these before and he literally doesn't want to do any sort of articles or awards that isn't roster transactions, pretty dumb tbh

I never said that; in fact I'd rather there be room for content outside of roster transactions. At the time, I was probably hesitant because we were understaffed, but I think we have an adequate amount of American writers currently. (We're still looking for European writers x_X)

If you have ideas for features or awards that you'd like to help write and create for TFTV, I'm open to it.

This is a pretty awesome way to make someone look bad in public without actually laying out what actually happened during that conversation.

I showed you the RK awards that happened in the past for ESEA (for example; https://play.esea.net/index.php?s=news&d=comments&id=8975) and I offered my services to write articles similar to this (Things like match writeups, seasonal rewards, match previews etc) and you completely shut it down while I offered to do the articles myself. So saying you being understaffed being the issue is pretty confusing considering I was going to do them myself and you never told me once during our conversation that was a reason for not wanting to write these articles.

You also scrapped the Map Pool/Whitelist article after a "few days." So the one time you were going to do an article that wasn't roster transactions, you gave up on it because ''the iron was frozen solid''

I really don't appreciate you lying to make yourself look better and to make me look like an asshole when we both (and your other writers) know full well how this conversation went.

Can you guys please not start drama? Especially on an article that's not even related to your region, thanks :)

I don't give a shit about the conversation above me but I think it will be interesting to see how Kaidus will actually do after spending his time mentoring Domo and coaching the team, its been a while since he has been practicing his mechanics while burgers like habib have been going non-stop as far as I can tell. There is big competition but I think as long as Kaidus has the motivation to improve not only his team but also his own game then seven are in for a chance at winning.
