In this day and age (More so in eu) I would cut players who wouldn't go to lan, just because it causes more problems long term with roster shuffles, and winning a season means nothing compared to world championships where you can make decent money.

yo b4nny on alle's team nice
Also I don't get why se7en won't just play it like a european lan, people weren't concerned that there weren't any americans in dreamhack

probably because se7en has no opponents in EU right now, they're just steaming through prem at the moment and it's not very interesting

I feel like it's a troll, why would not go to a LAN when:
1. You are a self sustaining org
2. Half of your players are from the UK and the other half are from EU
3. The second best team is a mix team who haven't even scrimmed with their final roster

Meh I can understand their issues with attending now. With an american team not going they don't really have any incentive anymore especially with kaidus having to play on that wrist all day on the saturday. At the end of the day alle's team is still a mix team regardless of who is on the roster.

Even if this is serious I'm hoping they'll still go. LANs are fun and I'm hoping they'll at least go for that alone.
If they're not playing but still going, having Kaidus as analyst/caster again would be cool.
Also if this is not enough to convince them: I'm going this year B)

the money is an incentive. it's different for na because you're barely breaking even with the plane ticket, nevermind the other crap, but when a european team wins an i-series they do pretty well.

yeah but the difference is that froyotech need to come first and pretty sure even then they only break even (if that)

whereas 7 have 4 brits and the other 2 aren't exactly far from the UK so if they come first it's a lot more profit than if froyotech were to.

Should pre agree to use the prize money to fund teams' travel, whover wins.

Since prize money itself is little incentive

the teams that don't win will be dipping into their bank accounts to get there. the team that wins, won't. this is an additional reason to go if you are the heavy favorite. it has nothing to do with how much/why they love the game.

It really isnt. If it was for an amount which is actually substantial then yeah for sure but for tf2 at iseries it really really isnt.
