no they look like ass and the majority of people (viewers and players) don't use them
players use fps config and turn viewmodels off as well we may as well do that too while we're at it

it may have been possible to use damage numbers back when status spec wasn't broken but by default stv doesn't allow damage numbers no

No fuck that, min viewmodels are for seeing more of the screen. For spectating, normal viewmodels are the best way of conveying information.
Plus min models look awful.

I guess im the minority thinking they look good. I think the look like other fps where your holding the wep normally instead of it extending from the side of your face. I use 90 fov which is too high for a stream so idk. The rocket launcher is the only wep that would logically come from the side of your head

Can we at least use a custom cow mangler model because that shit pisses me off, otherwise no.

wtzalso is high fov original ever going to be fixed

no, because the way the original is rendered relative to the soldier's model, the original is turned 90 degrees to the left of the outstretched arms of the reference soldier model

LOL as if Valve cares about what TF.TV thinks.

they don't have to; if casual players tune into the stream and see the "competitive tf2 stream" using minmodels they might think that this is something valve implemented that the comp players wanted and think is good and therefore they might think its good and use it just because they think it makes them better or something

you forgot that the tf2 playerbase has no interest in improving at the game

Would like to know that aswell. I think it would be so much more enjoyable to watch matches if you could see hit numbers.

First of all Source tv dosnt show damage the hit numbers.
Secondly It will be a huge clusterfuck during midfights or any sorts of pushes as since everyone will be doing damage to everyone. This will cause the stream to look more unattractive.

If it could be done then we would probably just watch the damage that the player we are currently spectating does.
