if i were to quit tf2 i'd return to games where i don't have to depend on others to let me down -_-

Moving on to other games: Been liking Reflex so far. I'm still really bad though because I never played a similar game before. Will probably try Diabotical and Quake Champions.
Maybe I'll try some speedrunning. Child of Light looks like a game I'd enjoy speedrunning after playing it casually and having watched the GDQ run.
As for moving on from this community I honestly don't know if I ever will unless the community is completely dead. I like the people, watching competitive, watching streamers, etc.
Never expected to pick up TF2 and meet so many awesome people and such a passionate community. I'd not leave this community even after quitting TF2.

i dont play tf2 a lot anymore because im just busy, but ill forever enjoy watching some good plays, so if there's a good tf3 or tf2 like alternative that is good i guess ill follow that game and play the few hours i give to tf2 to that new game.
or if i somehow manage to have a big enough income that allows me to travel the world all year

ive played cs hs & ow and dabbled in stuff like lol and quake and nothing yet has made me want to leave the community and im too broken already for irl stuff so guess ill stay for a while

You cant be this dumb realistically. you realize that most of the weapons are counter-intuitive to the gameplay style and flow of the game and can be seen and expressed in matchmaking for it's awful gimmicky use. I dont feel rewarded for moving as scout when instead I can mash jump and live, and I dont feel rewarded when I shoot a roamer in the air and get 20-30 damage while he can manipulate weird arcs and damage. I dont enjoy running into a heavy that will only take like 60-80 damage from close rockets and I get to lose my speed and make my team's ubers completely useless. I dont enjoy spamming a sentry only to have the engy at a spawn door heal it nonstop and then pull it away and reposition it when the enemy is out of ammo. Please use your head before meming or saying dont accept change because these items have been tested and people have come to the conclusion of them being bad for any competitive format before.

why would anyone straight up quit playing tf2, i mean, you must really hate this game to just stop playing it forever...
You can just not quit and just get a break from tf2 or play it only sometimes when you want or when you can, you dont need to quit it...

I honestly cant see myself investing 2000 hours into a video game ever again. Free time just gets shorter and shorter and no games coming out seem to hold my attention the way TF2 did.

When Valve makes a TF3 or when TF2's competitive scene no longer exist at a level that is fun for me.

In the unlikely case that TF2 outright dies altogether, the only game i'm willing to move to is Quake Champions. Other than TF2 and Quake, I don't know of any FPS's with extraordinary high skill ceilings that aren't hitscan based and have a decent community behind them.
