Starting from the point that you have no other custom HUD, just extract the root folder to \Steam\SteamApps\Common\Team Fortress 2\TF\Custom\ and install everything inside the fonts folder (double-click or right-click -> install). If you choose to rename the HUD's folder to anything else, you'll need to change accordingly on info.vdf.

nimtraOne thing to note is that Intellectual / haZe (Not sure which alias he prefers) has created a health bar for this HUD. I will be messing around with it a little bit and probably will make it an option within a few days. He's done a great job.

Don't know anything about HUD creation, but is it possible to have multiple loadouts of a user's choice show up as their own "Heroes" on the class selection screen? Makes life a lot more convenient, and adds a lot more flavour to the HUD.

hi i just pushed a really small update to the hud

Changelog- made "eventcolor" (med drop, pyro extinguish display etc) orange instead of the original purple
- edited payload and control point icons to be able to be used in valve servers, so you don't have to suffer the ugly stretched payload icons anymore :)

i don't know of any other bugs with the hud right now, other than the fact i still have to finish up the mvm stuff (which will be happening soon enough)

i have no idea what you mean. if you mean where it shows your other class loadouts while showing the one you have currently selected then that's not possible.

i accidentally deleted some of the files that were related to the health bar when i was moving my custom folder and merging some of it with the github repository. i'm going to talk to intellectual / haze eventually and see if he still has the original files.

Alright here's an update for the HUD.

Changelog- Removed 4:3/5:4 support. Ridicule me all you want, but I see no reason why I should have to edit a file over 3 times every single time I make a change to the original file. 16:10 support is staying, but 4:3 isn't going to happen. Use the older version of the HUD if you really want to use it in 4:3 resolution.
- Changed dx8 overrides to just override the blurfact VTF so I don't have to update multiple files every time I edit the HUD
- Adjusted a bunch of menus and changed the background
- Added a training and create server button. I don't know why so many people want this, but here you guys go.
- Added new animations/buttons from Scream Fortress '16 (I'm quite behind, I know)
- Added the Find a Game menu
- Added "create server" and "training" buttons
- Added class numbers for the disguise menu
- Changed loadout tabs to reflect the ones in Overwatch currently
- Added a bronze level border around the player, made it actually overlap the bottom half of the player model
- Adjusted scoreboard a little bit, changed the opacity of VS
- Adjusted colour of the timer
- Changed colour of the / between the clip ammo and reserve
To-do
- Edit some matchmaking elements
- Figure out how to get the Find a game menu's background to extend fully, and not get cut off near the end
- Fix motd

Quite a nice hud, I really like it but since i play on 1366x768 resolution, there is some messed up alligning. I know theres no way around since as you said, you're replicating overwatch but its still a really really fancy hud. Also i have a question, is it possible to transfer the hitmarker to another hud?

albadoesn't work at all for me, it everything is default hud except chat font, scoreboard and some colours :(

make sure you have copied info.vdf into the very same folder as rest of the hud files

HELP! i download the file extract it in custom, open up tf2. i see the OW hud loading screen, then when the game finished loading, i get the regular TF2 hud.

I updated this hud to jungle inferno. There's a lot of shit valve fucked up and now half of the menus I worked on are useless.

I am planning to add the friends list and levels later, but this is just so the people that want to use this HUD can use it until I find a workaround for a lot of these menus or Valve makes it easier to edit. Way too late on this update, sorry guys

Also because of the way the matchmaking dashboard clashes with the item pickup panel I'm not 100% sure the item pickup panel works. I've tested it a couple times and it's worked sometimes and just shit the bed completely sometimes. Post here if it doesn't work.
