Hey TFTV, here's a project I've been working on for a month or so. A HUD for TF2 based off of Overwatch.
HUD DOESN'T WORK AS OF 5/13/2018, not sure when I'll update cause valve broke everything and I don't have a ton of time

Resolution Support
16:9 - Made on 1920x1080, should work on other resolutions
16:10 - Should work, maybe some slight offsets.
4:3 - Should work. You have to use an override for the class loadout panel, however.

Notes
If you encounter any bugs while using this hud, please report them here. Commenting on my profile works too, but the first option is much preferred. Screenshots help too.

If you don't like how far away the health/ammo is from the center, turning on minimal mode (cl_hud_minmode 1) will move the health/ammo to the center of the screen.

Use the centered TargetID at your own risk. There are some bugs with it that I need to figure out. (One of them being not being able to see your Medic's uber)

Currently I haven't edited the mann vs machine HUD elements. I plan on doing them at a later date.

Crosshairs are managed in HudPlayerClass.res.

Known Issues

custom payload icons, koth timers, and control point iconswill not work in valve servers or any server with sv_pure 1 and up
blurfact on the menu, motd, and class select don't work correctly first launch (maybe a TF2 issue?)
centered targetid is very buggy. using a placeholder targetid until i can figure it out
queue window is cut off but fine when joining a game
some elements get cut off in different resolutions

This is absolutely amazing, fantastic work. Any plans to add support for 4k resolutions? It ruins the backgrounds when you first load into a server and when you first pick a class, among others I imagine

Yes. Go to Resource/UI/ and find HudPlayerHealth.res. Look for "HealthBGBuff" and "HealthBGLow" and set the "wide" and "tall" values of both to 0.

Most likely not. My computer isn't powerful enough to handle 4K and I don't imagine myself getting a 4K monitor anytime soon.

The main menu does. I may end up replacing the TotH class images in the future.

fantastic job on the hud, it's very impressive but I'm getting this weird bug where the target ids don't show up and when I spawn I get the spec target ids with the overlay and everything for about 10 seconds and then they're gone

ew overwatch

Wow from the screenshots this looks excellent, my only concern is that the buff/hurt animations may be too distracting. 10/10 apart from that.

I wish I could make huds like this.

Looks nice! Without me having played any Overwatch I don't see the need to use this, but props for the effort you put in!

I would recommend setting up the hudanimations_manifest so this hud is less likely to crash on future updates (in addition to #base)

The fonts and ui etc in ow are well polished and look pretty but a lot of stuff is positioned in dodgy/non functional ways.
The minmode in this hud legitimately just looks like that but with everything in a sensible place.

this should be the new TF2 default HUD! Great work, not a fan of Overwatch, but this hud is a masterpiece beyond any hud I've ever seen before!
