I loved seeing the opening ceremony and a lot of events 4 hours after it actually happened thanks nbc!

On a side note I'm looking forward towards Soccer and the track events mainly 400, 200 and 100

I'll be watching a lot of fencing events. My old coach's wife is competing in sabre this year, and I've fenced with Ibtihaj Muhammad (she's the first hijab wearing US Olympian, pretty well known) before at her home fencing club.

faggetif you aren't at all experienced with skateboarding it won't look interestingfaggetflatground skating which will only be impressive to flatground skaters

Doesn't matter if you're into flatground or aren't experienced with boarding, you can show this to someone and they'll be impressed.

I want to watch them, but I don't know if I'll be able to.

Plus, I don't have TV, so if they don't stream it for free somewhere I'll be out of luck.

I used to train with an olympic Taekwondo coach, although I never really had the drive or talent to achieve what he wanted to set out for me, it was an amazing experience. Probably gonna check out some highlights here and there.

Although not necessarily related, I still chuckle how the international federation for taekwondo is named W.T.F. (World Taekwondo Federation).

Rodney mullen is one, if not the best skaters in the world and that video is a compilation of very difficult tricks that you will never see in a competition.

Just watched Samir Aït-Saïd's injury... Holy shit, I feel so bad for him.

Shocking content, you've been warned.

You're sitting here on an esports forum. Don't try to say that skating can't be a sport, it's as much of a sport as skiing/snowboarding.

If you're not interested, then fuck off and don't watch. Because I sure as hell don't watch curling or what have you.

#47 already kind of said how I'm feeling, but otherwise maybe it's just me, because I'd love to see some type of skating competition, be it flatground or big ramps or in an area constructed to look like your typical skate park. It's a hobby that takes tremendous skill and balance and should be respected in the sense of it being an olympic sport one way or another. I don't know how difficult curling actually is, but it's visually nowhere near as appealing as skating and yet it's still an olympic sport.

I'm sure they will be stronger later in the tournament.
They need times to play together again because yesterday was actually horrible to watch : no team play at all...

Vincent Collet, French coach, took most of players who help French team to win the olympic qualifying tournament.
Evan Fournier wasn't one of them so he didn't bring him. But i think it was a mistake as well because he played really well this season in NBA. We will see....
