Hello. Here's my HUD that I've been working on for a few months. It is mostly inspired by material design, though it doesn't follow the rules of material design completely.

Updated for Jungle Inferno

Steam Group

Resolution Support

16:9 - yes. made on 1920x1080. minor clipping on other resolutions

5:4 - yes. minor clipping with some elements, shouldn't be too noticeable

Notes

Please don't add me for questions about this HUD. Ask them here. This is why I have a HUD thread.

INSTALL THE FONTS

Might want to make the backgrounds of the Build/Disguise menus Transparent. They cover up a lot of the visual area and would possibly be a pain in game.

I don't think I can make them transparent because that could ruin the overall "aesthetic" I have going on, but I did make it smaller.

the menus look amazing, they kinda look overwatch inspired.

edit: just launched this on 4:3 and the only things that are broken are the scoreboard, chat, welcome screen and the notification panel, are you sure you can't fix them?

Health color while being overhealed is white, could you change it to blue/green? Also, shadow under chat are a bit strange: https://gyazo.com/b8d0bc2253a4adb204a66b282cd0cb6b

This issue with the overlapping class images in the charinfoloadoutsubpanel can all be fixed with pin_to_sibling and then works regardless of resolution and aspect ratio.

Where in the file do I put "pin_to_sibling"?

People were saying the health & ammo wasn't very visible. I moved the shadow downwards. Hopefully this satisfies everyone.

I am currently working on support for 16:10 and possibly 4:3. Will push an update to my github once I finish it.

You pin the class images in the file to each other (spy to sniper, sniper to medic, medic to engineer, engineer to heavy etc.) and then you pin the scout to the list of items on the left.

Using positive xpos values will offset them from each other when using "pin_corner_to_sibling PIN_TOPLEFT" and "pin_to_corner_sibling PIN_TOPRIGHT"

Using the command 'tf_hud_showservertimelimit' doesn't show the server time left under the clock.

sorry. I forgot I set the ypos of that to a ridiculous amount. I'm not sure if it even shows up even after I fixed it. even after setting tf_hud_show_servertimelimit to 1 it doesn't show up, at least for me.

nonetheless, I pushed an update to github, let me know if it fixes it.

It works now, but it isn't directly under the timer. Thanks anyway!
Just change the xpos to 13 and it will be fine.

By the way, there is a bug on the loadout screen. Basically, if you click on weapon slot in order to change weapon and then at the screen that you choose the weapon you want to equip if you press 'Q' to go back, it equips the default weapon.
If you are switching a cosmetic and you press 'Q' it just un-equips the current item.

This is the best looking hud I have ever seen. Amazing work!
(Though I would like it if you add the feature to be able to make your own server, I need to practice on certain maps such as tr_walkway and tr_rocket_shooting but you don't have to if you don't want to)

Thank you for the kind words.

Unfortunately, I don't plan on adding those buttons in because it just adds more to the minimalist theme I have going on, and I never felt that those buttons were needed. You can just type in "map tr_walkway_rc2" in console and it does the exact same thing.

i mean adding a + somewhere on the left box wouldn't detract that much

maybe next to the pub text?

like pub then + which opens the create menu
