Let's not do what we always do and start shouting at the league for starters. If tf2 gets put on the cutting block we need to show that we're worth the leagues time, and behavior from a few in the community towards ESEA almost got tf2 thrown out a while ago.

Worst case: they decide that we aren't worth the investment and cut us off. If that happens I'm almost 100% sure this community can come up with something; you've done amazing things before.

hopefully they dont make huge changes yet because i think this community has a lot left in it and acting like its dying is dumb especially considering how many times the game has "died," and the "golden age of tf2" back when complexity and w/e were in the scene is a smidgen of what we can do now with sponsor support.

here's to many more years of esea tf2, and here's hoping they see fit to help us out a little.

Even if somebody else decided to pick up a big tf2 league, seems unlikely it would be ugc considering their management is incompetent and their league is a joke. Very hard to reform that, even if it's the same people behind it they would probably make a new brand for higher level play.

It's a hell of a lot of work to build and run a league from scratch, as ETF2L admins will tell you, and it's a hell of a lot more work to organize and run a well-produced LAN, as Insomnia staff will tell you.

It COULD be done, but for the amount of benefit we get from it I doubt it's worth having almost everyone we have pour their time and effort into it.

Isn't Richard Lewis that guy that gets all of his content banned on that LoL reddit? Also when this comes into action, it might be a good idea to have a few people who represent the competitive TF2 community to contact them, or any ESEA TF2 admins.

Yeah he publicly speaks out against riot and their practices all the time and riot owns the subreddit admins so his content gets banned :(

i don't technically speaking it even is considering you're allowed to play plat with a brand new roster of people with almost no experience

Do we know for sure if esea invite tf2 is legit folding even? perhaps mtg might still support it. Do we know if they plan to keep esea running, now just under new ownership?

If not, we may need to gather the community together here to make our own league, with a lan if possible.

dont get crazy i doubt theyll close down esea tf2 as 1) lpkane said he still had an influence and 2) mm is coming soon and thats going to give a HUGE boost to the competitive side of the game

etf2l has already stated that it would be possible for and NA league if I am correct, but you guys should calm your tits and wait out what will happen.
