Request: Can sunshine be bumped down in it's priority in the map pool. It seems to be in every cup without fail and almost every final despite it's status being the absolute lowest in the current map pool. It's the most widely disliked of any map, and the least understood by the majority of active players. I'm not saying remove it by any means but it's status in these cups doesn't reflect anything else in competitive tf2.

Also, just to make my position clear: I'm not saying we shouldn't become accustomed to the lesser played maps, but considering there's a lot of mix teams in these events it makes it a real ball ache to continuously play a map wherethere are very few established default plays.

I have no issue dropping Sunshine from rotation / earlier in the bracket. I will do that for the remainder of the Frag Fest events.

Really dont understand why teams aren't joining up for these. If you scrim every night why not sign up for a chance to win money?
If you say "I'm just getting wrecked by prem teams" or "Every team theres better than us theres no point" then good luck staying in open forever.

I still think it's a matter of people not knowing/remembering. No event posted on here, and this thread wasn't bumped to announce it to give it at least some eyesight. I know my team would have played, but we didn't see it until Shrugger bumped it 10 minutes after registration ending.

I'd much rather lose to invite teams in the tourney and then watch an awesome, close grand finals than play in a GF where people were running demoknights and shit. (not calling out the dudes we played, we did it too)

That was in no way a constructive post. We knew full well we shouldn't be in the finals and we were doing it for fun as a group of streamers looking to bring more attention to the tourneys. It's fucked to have people demolish us and then complain about winning.

You're both arguing the exact same point.
It's a shame that there wasn't a higher level team there in the finals, but how the events unfolded was due to apathy of teams playing (piss off with the "no announcement" shit, this has been happening for a few weeks it was safe to assume it was happening).
Yes, the finals were . . . interesting. But given Low-Mid players vs relatively new players, people are going to try to just enjoy themselves the best they can since it's not really hot competition. Secondly, if you didn't want a fuck-around show you shouldn't have fucked around yourself. It's not hard to just spend the 15 minutes getting the job done without dicking around if you actually wanted to take it seriously. Don't complain if you joined in, you made your bed and shit in it.

WGW made the best of a very, very odd situation created solely by the inability of people to show up. It's a shame Wednesday is one of the last ones and we're gonna hear the same lame-ass excuses, but whatever.

The only way to remedy this is have more teams playing. We've put up events for the last two happening this upcoming week, and hopefully we'll be able to get at least 10-12 teams playing if not fill up the bracket. It is important for us to show that we are interested by playing if we want Razer to support us going into the future (and they definitely have big plans for it).

I wanted to play but my usual crew wasn't around this afternoon. I'd love for the community to get serious and at least make the last 2 events (yes, only 2 left!!) the best they can be. Unfortunately I can't play weds anymore (night classes) but I hope everyone who can will contribute
