Alannydeciding on buying a mouse any zowie recommendations other than the FK 1?

I guess it's all about the shape. If you want an ambidextrous mouse there's no reason you shouldn't get the FK1, save for the steeper price (compared to FK and AM) I guess. If an ergonomically shaped mouse is more your game, look for the EC1 eVo or something similar.

Getting an FK1 myself to replace my old AM in the near future.

I got my rival recently and I REALLY like the shape of the mouse. With that said, the cable absolutely blows. The coating on it is "sticky" and creates extra friction. Back to the g400. If I had the time to recable the rival with a better cord I would probably switch to it.

Heads up Monoprice has the EC1-EVO and the AM both on sale for 37.04 which I'm pretty sure is a great deal:

Thanks for the heads up, tooth. I ordered the EC1 - they're both essentially the same mouse internally , correct? I thought I'd be okay with waiting for order fulfillment for an FK1 from Amazon but now my G400 is straight up spazzing out.

What's the best cloth pad in terms of speed? I have the QcK right now and it feels like there's too much friction sometimes. I've been looking at the Artisan Hayate but i'd need a second opinion before I spent that much on a mouse pad

Been using a Sensei Rubberized RAW for the past year or so. While the sensor isn't amazing, the feel is good.

Whatever works for you; if it's the RAT mouse, so be it.

I had a qpad from esea and that felt really fast, almost slippery if I had to describe it.

I heard the new goliathus was also pretty fast. I haven't actually used it to tell you from experience though.

WARNING: Regarding the g700s
I bought this mouse about 2 months ago after my g400s died (best mouse ever). 2 problems with it:
1) There seems to be an inconsistent amount of input lag. I was told it would be 1ms even though it was wireless. However when both usb tethered and wireless it seemed to have an inconsistent amount of input lag.
2) More importantly is the sensor placement. The sensor itself seems fine however the g700s' wonderful designer decided it should be unlike 90% of all other mice on the market and decided not to placed the sensor under your palm but rather halfway up your fingers. This is not conducive to consistency and was the main reason I decided to replace it. With the claw grip you might be prone to thinking it is in the same spot as the ergonomically similar g400s however this is not the case.

yeah.
but, as you can see, the whole (first) post is quite outdated. but Lemon hasn't been active since january 1st, so we kind of 'need' a new thread so we can keep it up to date again.

I've washed my Qck+ in a sink with lukewarm water and soap and a soft toothbrush. It takes a while to fully dry but make sure it's adequately dry before you use it.
